I had my lesson with Elly and she was super patient and help us to get us the AHA moment when comes to learning German. I especially enjoyed her lesson because we are not allow to speak english (most time) during her lesson, which helped us tremendously on german speaking skill 🤩🥰 really hope I can come back to her lesson at some point😭❤️‍🔥

My wife and I took online private lessons at Vox. Our sole aim was to pass the B1 Goethe test in all modules. Yvonne Vogt was our teacher and she was simply brilliant! Yvonne ordered the right materials for us starting from the textbooks to exercises to model exams. She even conducted mock exams for us on the hearing and speaking modules. Both my wife and I passed all modules with high scores. Thank you Yvonne and Vox!

In addition to being multilingual, she has a very well-structured approach to teaching that makes each lesson clear and effective. She skillfully draws associations with other languages to ensure new concepts are easy to understand. The pace of the lessons is well balanced, and the homework is always relevant and helpful for reinforcing what we’ve covered. As I’m coming to the end of my current lesson package, I’ve already purchased another one, which says a lot about the quality of the teaching. This is the third time I’ve started learning German, and I genuinely feel that I’ve now found the right school and the right teacher to stay motivated, especially given how challenging the language can be. Sara is patient, insightful, and tech-savvy, and her notes are exceptionally neat and easy to follow, making revision straightforward. I highly recommend both VOX-Sprachschule and Sara to anyone looking to learn German.

VOX in general is very well organized and professional. The Zürich location is convenient near the main train station. My teacher Miriam is a wonderful instructor and I can see that she is planning the lessons around what I understand vs. what I need to work on more. She gives the lessons in 100% German and makes everything very clear, explaining in English only if I really don't understand something. I also appreciate that she asks me what I'd prefer to learn about, helps me with pronunciation, recommends videos to watch and books to read, and she has created special worksheets just for me. I could not imagine a better instructor.
