Great team delivering high quality courses. Not that expensive for what you get in comparison of cheaper (I prefer to invest for result instead of lowering my goals for few $). I started from A1 speaking no german at all and now I'm able to speak and understand a lot. I always had 4 to 5 people in each group which is perfect to stimulate motivation and engage people. Each professor teaches well with different flavor, which enriches dramatically the learning process. I will keep going until C2 with no doubt (unless the vicissitudes of the life decide to not to). UPDATE: Booked individual lesson with Ruben in VOX Zurich to strengthen my B1 level. Enjoyed the learning process tailor made to my needs. I had blazing fast progress and I fell now confident to speak German with German speaking people. Thanks Ruben :) UPDATE (01.2024): still very good as before. I would just recommend to avoid too much online courses when booking on-site courses because having half of the people online during the course impacts significantly the experience and quality.

I had the privilege to meet my teachers Kenny and Alex and learn German in a proactive and fun way. They inspired me to continously improve my german skills and not be afraid of speaking a new language. They always accommodated with the needs of the students and really emerge us in the culture and language. I recommend VOX to anybody that wants to learn German.

Had such a good experience with VOX. I e-mailed them very last-minute and they were able to get me in to lessons extremely quickly and were very prompt in their replies. My teacher, Isabelle, has been amazing - I have progressed extremely quickly under her guidance, and have had a great deal of fun doing it. I would wholeheartedly and enthusiastically recommend her and VOX.

Progressing from the B1 to B2 level in German is one of the most challenging steps. VOX was receptive to our class's feedback and made the necessary changes to our course. Additionally, our teacher, Andersen, was very patient and deeply committed to our language learning success. He worked tirelessly for us and consistently went above and beyond what most teachers would do.

My wife and I took online private lessons at Vox. Our sole aim was to pass the B1 Goethe test in all modules. Yvonne Vogt was our teacher and she was simply brilliant! Yvonne ordered the right materials for us starting from the textbooks to exercises to model exams. She even conducted mock exams for us on the hearing and speaking modules. After a few courses at VOX, studying German, I can only recommend it for: 1) the quality / professionalism of the teaching (always prepared, hand-outs if necessary, follow-ups over email if a class is missed and topics / words / concepts promptly addressed the following lessons); 2) flexibility of the teaching and administration; 3) small class size (one of my main selection criteria) which allows for a good practice / feedback for all students; 4) convenient location close to HB (which was a big plus when you are trying to strike a balance with work and other chores). I have just completed A1 German intensive with Ruben and I have to say, it really makes a difference when you have a teacher who is truly passionate about what they are teaching. The course felt well organised and I felt comfortable making mistakes (lots of them!)
