Besides following the workbook, there were a lot of interactive exercises that Elly had prepared herself, that challenged us to practice what we had learned. Also a lot of out of the book homework in addition. I had the feeling that I was progressing after each class. The workbook "Sprachniveau A1+ Begegnungen, Deutsch als Fremdsprache" by Anne Buscha and Szilvia Szita we used in the class was structured and thought through extremely well. What I like about the school is that there is an option to visit the classes online. This is really convenient not to miss classes when traveling. The online courses worked surprisingly well, as the school classrooms are equipped for online teaching as well and Elly was making sure that you feel like you are really in the classroom. I'm currently doing a B1 online German group course and so far the experience has been really great. The teacher (Yulia) is very professional, is fully prepared for each class, makes things interesting by mixing teaching content (text book, youtube videos, poem listening) and most importantly encourages us to speak, speak, speak!
