Mila was a great German teacher!
This is an excellent language school. I was looking for a flexible program that could accommodate my work and travel schedule, and yet allow me to gain a working knowledge of German fairly quickly. The staff at VOX-sprachschule were incredibly cooperative and helpful. With their assistance I was able to find the right level and schedule for lessons. In my case this was private lessons via video. But am sure the group lessons are excellent as well. The teaching materials and the quality of instruction is really superb. I am especially pleased with my instructor, Isabelle Wegmüller, who is very knowledgeable, patient and fun. I am making good progress and expect to continue on with my lessons for the foreseeable future. I highly recommend this language school.

Small groups, good progress, relaxed atmosphere
I felt so good with the school that I just can't go without leaving a big thank you! Manager is very friendly and helpful, I explained my situation and he quickly found what I need and even gave me useful tips! Everything was super fast, I felt like a VIP customer here. More over, I had a free trial lesson with Camille, who is an increadibly competent teacher, ( being a teacher in high school I can really say a word) and in one hour I discovered new vocabulary, practised listening and speaking in french and she shared material so I can repeat at home. The best language school in Zürich. I took the German Goethe B1 for 1 year until September - and had success at the exams recently. Place and location superb, small group of classmates, a great teacher - Kathrine Spaar was knowledgeable, resourceful, kept us motivated and made the lessons interesting and fun(which is hard to do in German!). What made me though initially decide on this school was how open and flexible were to my special requests. I greatly appreciated that they continued to offer options and solutions to some personal issues I had during the course; every person I was in contact with was kind, responsive and eager to find a way to the best result - special kudos and thanXXX to Evgenia. I had an excellent experience completing two intensive face-to-face courses (German B1 and B2) at this school. My teachers, Alys and Florian, were outstanding; they prioritized real-life conversation—which I found incredibly helpful—while consistently challenging us to expand our vocabulary. A unique advantage here is the teachers' deep familiarity with the local Swiss German dialect and culture, allowing them to share fascinating cultural insights alongside the curriculum. With small group sizes, everyone has ample opportunity to speak and stay engaged. Highly recommended!
I took the A1 and A2 German classes at VOX and I quickly changed my perception from "I have to learn German" to "I want to learn German". It was a pleasure taking these classes. Alexander Lips is a great teacher, who makes German learning fun and interactive, always adapting to each student's needs. As a result, I passed the fide A2 test with a great score and will continue with B1 course at VOX with the same Alexander the great.
