My experience with VOX has been overall very positive and I cannot stress enough how their format of teaching to a maximum of 4 people at a time helps students developing their linguistic skills faster: you have more time to speak, to ask questions and to interact with your co-students. Isabelle has been a fantastic teacher. I attended A1 and A2 German courses with her. She was always ready to help whenever I needed assistance and answered my questions super quickly every time. I took the standard B1 level class (Dienstag und Donnerstag Abendkurs) with Elena. She was a wonderful teacher and taught the grammar rules in a way I really understood. She also consistently corrected my Aussprache, which I appreciated (strong American accent here). Moreover, I was thankful for her help with my special request to prepare me for the Telc B1 test. Furthermore, I liked the availability of the Abendkurs (19:30-21:00) because I was able to attend after work. The standard class also covered a lot of material in 3 months. I recommend it if you can dedicate a generous amount of time to study.

My learning experience at Vox Sprach Schule with Mr. Björn as my teacher has been extremely positive to date. Within a short timeframe, I have increased my knowledge towards new vocabulary and gained a good understanding of constructing the German grammar. As a result, I am more confident to communicate in public. Equally, I understand more of what I read and hear too. Mr. Björn is always very well prepared, organised and focused. His teaching style is methodical and presented with a lot of attention to detail. He provides me a wide range of solutions, “tips and tricks” to memorise new words, alternative words, and explains different ways on how to best apply them. He does a lot of repetition and provides a lot of examples in the class to make sure that I have thoroughly understood the syllables before moving on to the next lesson. Above all, he does extensive helpful notes which are customised and prepared simultaneously during each class. I receive these notes shortly after every class, and they help me to study at home. The atmosphere in the class is very friendly and comfortable. Although I was nervous at first, I am very relaxed with my learning experience and look forward to attend each class with much enthusiasm. Vox Sprach Schule is very well located and maintained to high standards. The administration team has been extremely helpful and flexible towards accommodating my requests in order to ensure my learning experience is productive. I have just completed A1 German intensive with Ruben and I have to say, it really makes a difference when you have a teacher who is truly passionate about what they are teaching. The course felt well organised and I felt comfortable making mistakes (lots of them!) I am finally learning grammar while also learning how to have some conversation apart from “Das Wetter ist gut”. I believe they have a good balance between grammar and conversation and a good pace. This was the second school I tried and I am learning a lot, but I would recommend having studied the very basics before.

I started my course at VOX in August, and within a few months I found a better job. The German course was very dynamic. With small classes, we could easily ask questions and practice conversation. I stayed with the teacher, Ieva Jefremova, and you can tell she loves what she does and explains very well. The best choice I made, without a doubt.
