I attended a three-month-long B2 English course and can definitely recommend it. The small class sizes were great—we had a class of just four people, and everyone had different strengths and weaknesses. With such small classes, our teacher, Mariia Fedorova, was able to assign tasks individually, making the learning process much more efficient. Overall, I highly recommend both the school and Mariia Fedorova as a teacher.
I have just completed A1 German intensive with Ruben and I have to say, it really makes a difference when you have a teacher who is truly passionate about what they are teaching. If you are ready to sit your first intermediate level exam for German, then this course is for you. This course is also perfect for those who want to gain Swiss citizenship and need to prove that they have B1-level speaking skills or for your C-permit.
In this course, you will progress from a basic to an independent user of German and you will be able to deal with most daily situations in German by the end of the course through our speaking-based method. Your experienced teacher will not only help you to improve your language skills, but also to develop strategies for tackling the different parts of the exam efficiently and accurately.
Our classes are very small (3-5 people). This small size means your teacher can adapt to you and any special requirements you may have. Just ask your teacher. This course will cover all parts of the exam: reading comprehension, listening comprehension, language elements (vocabulary and grammar), writing and, naturally, VOX’s specialty, speaking. Through repetition of exam-like exercises in class, working through the exam will be a breeze by the end.
