As a teacher working for VOX, I could not be happier about my experience here. Really excellent. My teacher Ruben is very dedicated to classes, very competent and willing to teach. I certainly know more than I could ever imagine learning. there is a lot of conversation during class and the number of students helps to make the environment more relaxed for learning.
I am currently in the A2 German course at VOX. I am extremely happy with their services. The class I am in has 4 people which makes each lesson feel like private or semi-private. My teacher Isabelle is fantastic. She pushes us to only speak in German throughout the lesson which I can tell has boosted my grammar and speaking abilities. She makes each class interactive by explaining the theory and then letting us put it into practice, there is a lot of emphasis on speaking. I truly appreciate her teaching style and the confidence VOX has given me to speak more German in my everyday life.
I initially selected VOX from among a handful of recommended language schools in Zurich because of its broad course offering. But I’ve stayed with VOX because of my incredible teacher, Isabelle. She took me from having absolutely zero knowledge of the German language to passing my A1 exam (which I needed as a condition of my visa to remain in Switzerland) in three months during our small group A1 course (which covered all of A1 and included supplementary test prep material). After completing this group course, I have continued taking individual lessons with Isabelle, completing A2, and am currently working through B1. I would highly recommend VOX, especially Isabelle – she is incredibly professional, has a very effective teaching method, and is patient but also knows when to push you ahead.
I feel that I am moving towards my goals, and that Priska is a great teacher. I get plenty of speaking practice, which is super. Priska makes sure that I Get the necessary grammatical exercises, and she is great at explaining the grammatical rules.
I highly recommend VOX-Sprachschule; I am currently finishing my online A1 German course with Olga, and it has been going great so far! Olga is very friendly and professional and makes sure that the classes are interesting and enjoyable. Looking forward to starting my A2 class next month!
