My wife and I took online private lessons at Vox. Our sole aim was to pass the B1 Goethe test in all modules. Yvonne Vogt was our teacher and she was simply brilliant! Yvonne ordered the right materials for us starting from the textbooks to exercises to model exams. She even conducted mock exams for us on the hearing and speaking modules. I was taking a C2 English course at the VOX language school to prepare for a Toefl exam. The school is located in the heart of the city right on Central square. After my request for a C2 level course, I was quickly given a recommendation about who would be the best teacher for me. I was being introduced to Tatiana who is a great teacher and she helped me out in any way I needed her. I didn’t have much time for my exam preparation, but Tatiana made sure we covered everything for the exam just in time. All in all, I would highly recommend studying at VOX language school and would definitely join again if I wanted to improve or learn another language!

I am taking an A2 class and I can see that I am making good progress. The teacher (Yvonne) always comes to class well-prepared, and she explains things clearly. Our homework is corrected carefully with helpful comments. I also enjoy the small class size and the interactions with other students. Overall, a terrific course!

Really excellent. My teacher Ruben is very dedicated to classes, very competent and willing to teach. I certainly know more than I could ever imagine learning. there is a lot of conversation during class and the number of students helps to make the environment more relaxed for learning.

I highly recommend taking your German classes at VOX. And even more so I recommend requesting Alexander Lips as your teacher. Over the last year or so I've taken a few classes with Alexander (B1, B2, C1) and I've waited to make a review as I've been gate keeping his greatness. He is the best language instructor I've ever had and the most passionate. It is hard to stay motivated to study a language and it's hard to attend an evening course after work. But this isn't the case in Alexander's class. His expertise is inspiring. The course was completely tailored to our goals and our motivations. We explored poetry, books and presentations, all of which was frankly fun and enriching. We learned grammar, practiced speaking and reading, all while learning about history and art. I can also say I've read two books in German now which is super satisfying and it also gives me more to talk about to my friends in German. If anything I wish I had more time to learn and take advantage of Alexander's great instruction. Another very unique skill of Alexander's is his deep understanding of etymology and applying the skill to make words stick in your mind. He can break down words into components to then make connections to others words, languages, history, or stories. He shows the patterns to look for to do the same. There are words I'll never forget because he took the time to really give us the depth of the word. Such a talent to have! Huge thank you to VOX for such great organization and a huge thank you to Alexander for all the work and care he puts in his instruction. So, if you've read to here you should really go register already for a course!
