My learning experience at Vox Sprach Schule with Mr. Björn as my teacher has been extremely positive to date. Within a short timeframe, I have increased my knowledge towards new vocabulary and gained a good understanding of constructing the German grammar. As a result, I am more confident to communicate in public. Equally, I understand more of what I read and hear too. Mr. Björn is always very well prepared, organised and focused. His teaching style is methodical and presented with a lot of attention to detail. He provides me a wide range of solutions, “tips and tricks” to memorise new words, alternative words, and explains different ways on how to best apply them. He does a lot of repetition and provides a lot of examples in the class to make sure that I have thoroughly understood the syllables before moving on to the next lesson. Above all, he does extensive helpful notes which are customised and prepared simultaneously during each class. I receive these notes shortly after every class, and they help me to study at home. The atmosphere in the class is very friendly and comfortable. Although I was nervous at first, I am very relaxed with my learning experience and look forward to attend each class with much enthusiasm. Vox Sprach Schule is very well located and maintained to high standards. The administration team has been extremely helpful and flexible towards accommodating my requests in order to ensure my learning experience is productive. I sincerely appreciate, and thank Vox Sprach Schule for placing Mr. Björn as my German teacher as I gave progressed a lot under his guidance. Yvonne ordered the right materials for us starting from the textbooks to exercises to model exams. She even conducted mock exams for us on the hearing and speaking modules. I had a wonderful experience with this German school! The customer service was exceptional, and the classes were tailored to my individual level. What really stood out to me was how engaging the teachers were - not only did they use practical examples to supplement the typical grammar learning approach, but they also made the classes incredibly entertaining. Overall, I highly recommend this school to anyone looking to improve their German language skills! I’ve now started Italian classes with Marcella, and she’s fantastic. Whether you go for German or Italian, both the courses and teachers are great. The price is on the higher side, but the quality fully justifies it.

My teachers, Alys and Florian, were outstanding; they prioritized real-life conversation—which I found incredibly helpful—while consistently challenging us to expand our vocabulary. A unique advantage here is the teachers' deep familiarity with the local Swiss German dialect and culture, allowing them to share fascinating cultural insights alongside the curriculum. With small group sizes, everyone has ample opportunity to speak and stay engaged. Highly recommended!
