Course Description
The Cambridge B1 Preliminary (formerly known as PET) shows that you have mastered the basics of English and are now an independent (or intermediate) user of English and the exam is internationally recognised.
In this exam preparation class you will work towards improving your English level alongside targeted exam preparation covering all sections of the exam. Having the correct level is often not enough in a language exam; you also need to know the format and the type of activities and questions. Your teacher will guide you through all sections and help you develop strategies for tackling the exam.
At VOX, our main focus is speaking, which will help the grammar and vocabulary to sink in and give you confidence using spoken English. Our small class sizes (3-5) guarantee you plenty of speaking practice and individual feedback on your progress. Of course, your teacher will not neglect the other skills: listening, reading and writing.

(Translated by Google) A modern, "crisp", dynamic, flexible and very friendly school where teaching and working with the teams behind the scenes is enormous fun! A great place to work that I can definitely recommend. (Original) Eine moderne, "knackige", dynamische, flexible und sehr sympathische Schule, an der das Unterrichten und die Zusammenarbeit mit den Teams hinter den Kulissen enormen Spass macht! Ein toller Arbeitsplatz, den ich auf jeden Fall weiterempfehlen kann.
I had a wonderful experience with this German school! The customer service was exceptional, and the classes were tailored to my individual level. What really stood out to me was how engaging the teachers were - not only did they use practical examples to supplement the typical grammar learning approach, but they also made the classes incredibly entertaining. Overall, I highly recommend this school to anyone looking to improve their German language skills!
(Translated by Google) I am very happy to do my course at VOX, very dynamic and with a lot of conversation. (Original) Ich bin sehr froh, meinen Kurs bei VOX zu machen, sehr dynamisch und mit viel Konversation.
(Translated by Google) I enjoyed the experience of taking an online course. Super practical and has brought me wonderful progress (Original) Die Erfahrung, einen Online-Kurs zu belegen, hat mir gut gefallen. Super praktisch und hat mir einen wunderbaren Fortschritt gebracht
(Translated by Google) Freundlich, zielgerichtet, zuverlässig, creativity und mit Freude am Werk. Habe wohl Privatunterricht bei der optimalen Lehrerin (I) gebucht. Friendly, purposeful, reliable, serious but not too much, a creative force and with a lot of pleasure at work. I probably booked private lessons with an optimal teacher. (Original) Freundlich, zielgerichtet, zuverlässig, kreativ und mit Freude am Werk. Habe wohl Privatunterricht bei der optimalen Lehrerin (I) gebucht. Amichevole, finalizzata, affidabile, seria ma non troppo, una forza creativa e con molto piacere sul lavoro. Probabilmente ho prenotato lezioni private con una insegnante ottimale.
(Translated by Google) Excellent school, very good teachers. Completely recommended. (Original) Excelente escuela, muy buenos maestros. Completamente recomendable.
I was surprised myself how fast I made progress with my language skills. Very professional teachers teach at VOX, who know their field very well.
Super teacher for Swiss German - Silvan Plattner. Highly flexible regarding scheduling, fun lessons, overall very good value and IMO very good improvement of my Swiss German.
(Translated by Google) Very good teacher and explains wonderfully, thank you, I recommend it (Original) Muy buena profesora y explica estupendamente gracias lo recomiendo
(Translated by Google) Last fall I attended private French lessons for several weeks and was very satisfied with the language teacher's support and preparation. We designed the course to be very dynamic and focused on speaking. On the one hand, he recognized individual weaknesses and placed the learning focus on them, and on the other hand, he was always able to answer spontaneous questions about the French language confidently and well. I can definitely recommend the language school without reservation!
Super happy with this school! Every day my German is improving and it’s only been a month. Their system really works! I have already enrolled for the next course. Can’t beat the location, the classes are super small and intimate, and the pace is ideal. Grateful for my talented -and very patient- teacher, Alys 🙏🏼
My teacher Yana has been so supporting throughout the course and helped me improve my German giving me more confidence to speak 😊💪🏻
