Learned a lot and my teacher is patience and helpful.
I have been going to vox from A2 High German to C1. After this course it was important for me to integrate more into the Swiss German language. I started taking private courses in swiss German and after a couple months I am starting to speak and type in swiss German to my colleagues at work which has brought about a positive impact in all of our relationships. My initial goal, even in A2, was to integrate better into swiss culture and I feel much more accepted when I try to speak swiss German even when it's not perfect. The language is not easy, but I have really enjoyed learning and practicing with my colleagues and friends. With the private tutor I am able to be very flexible with my schedule. If I have business trips we skip a week, or we can move days around as required. So overall I have had a very great and positive experience at Vox and have already recommended to 4 of my friends who are also expats to take the same courses.

My teacher Miriam is a wonderful instructor and I can see that she is planning the lessons around what I understand vs. what I need to work on more. She gives the lessons in 100% German and makes everything very clear, explaining in English only if I really don't understand something. I also appreciate that she asks me what I'd prefer to learn about, helps me with pronunciation, recommends videos to watch and books to read, and she has created special worksheets just for me. This preparation course is perfect for highly proficient learners of German who would like to sit the Goethe-Zertifikat C2: Grosses Deutsches Sprachdiplom (GDS). As the highest level exam possible, this exam requires specific preparation.
Firstly, you will improve your ability to express yourself fluently and accurately through discussion of a wide range of topics with confidence. Your teacher will also assist you to expand your vocabulary and improve your ability to write texts in formal German. Our small groups of 3-5 people ensure that you will work closely with your teacher and receive enough direct feedback and attention. Your teacher will also help you to identify any gaps in your knowledge.
Secondly, this class will cover all sections of the exam and your teacher will provide you with many tips and strategies that you can use to tackle this difficult exam. You will use materials specifically aimed at exam preparation. Targeted exam preparation will not only reduce any exam-induced anxiety, but also boost your confidence.
