I am currently doing a B2 German course with 3 other students online. All the other courses I have done in other schools have been in much larger groups. I feel that the course is more tailored to us as individuals and I’m learning more as a result. Agi is an excellent teacher! She explains everything clearly, allows us to practise and corrects our mistakes without destroying confidence. This has been perfect for me as a refresher course but you would have to be motivated to do extra homework if everything were new as the speed is quite fast. I am finally getting to grips with cases and am slowly learning to speak with fewer grammatical errors. I would highly recommend Vox to those who want to learn quickly and want to improve their speaking ability.
I have been going to vox from A2 High German to C1. After this course it was important for me to integrate more into the Swiss German language. I started taking private courses in swiss German and after a couple months I am starting to speak and type in swiss German to my colleagues at work which has brought about a positive impact in all of our relationships. My initial goal, even in A2, was to integrate better into swiss culture and I feel much more accepted when I try to speak swiss German even when it's not perfect. The language is not easy, but I have really enjoyed learning and practicing with my colleagues and friends. With the private tutor I am able to be very flexible with my schedule. If I have business trips we skip a week, or we can move days around as required. So overall I have had a very great and positive experience at Vox and have already recommended to 4 of my friends who are also expats to take the same courses.
My wife and I took online private lessons at Vox. Our sole aim was to pass the B1 Goethe test in all modules. Yvonne Vogt was our teacher and she was simply brilliant! Yvonne ordered the right materials for us starting from the textbooks to exercises to model exams. She even conducted mock exams for us on the hearing and speaking modules. I had online German course B2 level . There were only 3 people in our class, so I had a lot more chance to talk in German. My teacher Isabel was very professional and friendly, I would definitely recommend her for the lesson. She always gave us the homeworks and sent us back correted answer quickly which helped me a lot as well. It costs quite a lot, but as there are not many students in a class, so it was worth it. Unfortunately, there was no administrations office in Winterthur branch, so it seems all enquries are done only with email or the telephone. But Administrative person calling me back in a short time.
I understand the language way better than before because my teacher could explain why things were the way they were . I’ve had a lot of experience with teachers just Saying: “ it’s just that way.” But here that was not the case. I really enjoyed the lessons. Thank you Elena

I am currently taking German A1 with VOX-Sprachschule and have been very happy with their concept. The small group size and the skillful teacher have made it easy to reach the goals set, and I signed up for the next level without hesitation. Importantly, I travel a lot in my work and have therefore had to miss out on a number of classes, but this has never been an issue. The teacher has kindly provided me with homework for the lessons missed, so that I have had no problems keeping up with the other students. Also from the admin side everything has been very streamlined. All in all, I warmly recommend this language school.

The A2 Key (formerly KET) exam preparation course is suitable for students who already possess basic knowledge of English (completed A1) and corresponds to the A2 level of the Common European Framework of Reference for Languages (CEFR). The Cambridge Key exam is accepted worldwide and demonstrates that you can communicate at a basic level with native speakers using a variety of basic phrases and expressions and understand basic written English.
Your teacher will help you improve your level, particularly your speaking level, through varied practice in our small groups (3-5 students). You will receive ample feedback from your teacher thanks to the small class sizes. Speaking practice is vital to make you feel comfortable speaking the language in real-life situations and will help the grammar sink in.
In addition to improving your grasp of grammar and starting to expand your basic vocabulary, your teacher will help you prepare for the Cambridge A2 Key. You will practise all aspects of the exam in class so you are fully prepared for the exam tasks by the end of the class.
