The price of a language course is always linked to the group size and the course content. We start group courses with only 2 people (max. 5) and aim to complete one level within one course.
I just finished the A2 online course with Lili and could not be happier. With only 4 people in the class, there is plenty of opportunity to speak, something that is difficult in most other schools. We received great personalised feedback as this amount of students is also much more manageable for the teacher. I took the standard B1 level class (Dienstag und Donnerstag Abendkurs) with Elena. She was a wonderful teacher and taught the grammar rules in a way I really understood. She also consistently corrected my Aussprache, which I appreciated (strong American accent here). Moreover, I was thankful for her help with my special request to prepare me for the Telc B1 test. Furthermore, I liked the availability of the Abendkurs (19:30-21:00) because I was able to attend after work. The standard class also covered a lot of material in 3 months. Though the price is higher than many other schools, the smaller class sizes and high quality of teachers make it worth it! The course scheduling is flexible and fits my working schedule well. Each teacher is different but I have had only good experiences in my A2 and B1 courses. Teachers are happy to receive feedback to help you learn in the way that is best for you.
The teachers are very competent (in my case Daniel and Marion) and the secretariat is very helpful and friendly. The school seems to be more expensive than others, but it is not because you will learn quickly.
