Intensive German HSK1 Courses Online in Small Groups

I decided to join VOX-Sprachschule because of the positive Google reviews and word-of-mouth recommendations, and I was not disappointed. I have previously studied in multiple other schools in Zürich, but this experience was by far the best. The school is worth the investment. I took a C1 course three times a week for two hours each session over the span of two months. I particularly appreciated the small class sizes, which allowed each of us to receive more individual attention and ample opportunity to ask questions. My teacher was Björn, whom I had previously encountered at another school, and I was very pleased to learn that he had joined VOX-Sprachschule and would be our instructor. In my opinion, Björn is an excellent and highly professional teacher. He is the best German teacher I have ever had! His teaching techniques are unique and easy to understand, and he is very tech-savvy. He also shared valuable insights on how to master the C1 test, having previously been involved in evaluating the test himself.

Very small group class and lots of interaction with a teacher. It is great opportunity not only improving your language skills, but also communication skills and meet amazing people. Whenever you have questions you always can easily reach to your teacher. If you are looking for a lot of interaction in a class and would like to improve your communication skill, this is the best school for that!

Great flexibility, professional teachers, smooth and pleasant admin. After searching both in CH and abroad, I decided for this school because of their personalized and flexible approach, competitive price and the lessons turned out to be at a very high standard (online private lessons for me - super efficient). The school's own method used by all of its teachers focuses on pronunciation as well as on the vocabulary and grammar needed to be able to communicate within days of starting a course. This is further emphasized by the small size of the groups and the possibility of attending individual lessons, both of which allow the students' needs to be met. This is an excellent language school. I was looking for a flexible program that could accommodate my work and travel schedule, and yet allow me to gain a working knowledge of German fairly quickly. The staff at VOX-sprachschule were incredibly cooperative and helpful. With their assistance I was able to find the right level and schedule for lessons. In my case this was private lessons via video. But am sure the group lessons are excellent as well. The teaching materials and the quality of instruction is really superb. I am especially pleased with my instructor, Isabelle Wegmüller, who is very knowledgeable, patient and fun. I am making good progress and expect to continue on with my lessons for the foreseeable future. I highly recommend this language school.

This is an amazing experience ☺ I participated in german B2 and now on C1 level. My teacher, Priska, is very good at understanding individual strengths and needs and adapts the lesson accordingly, no matter if in a group or private lesson context. The tempo is intense with homework in between the lessons. The upside is the great progress that you feel which comes in a short period of time. The school is so great that it makes me want to continue studying more languages once I'm happy with my German ☺

My learning experience at Vox Sprach Schule with Mr. Björn as my teacher has been extremely positive to date. Within a short timeframe, I have increased my knowledge towards new vocabulary and gained a good understanding of constructing the German grammar. As a result, I am more confident to communicate in public. Equally, I understand more of what I read and hear too. Mr. Björn is always very well prepared, organised and focused. His teaching style is methodical and presented with a lot of attention to detail. He provides me a wide range of solutions, “tips and tricks” to memorise new words, alternative words, and explains different ways on how to best apply them. He does a lot of repetition and provides a lot of examples in the class to make sure that I have thoroughly understood the syllables before moving on to the next lesson. Above all, he does extensive helpful notes which are customised and prepared simultaneously during each class. I receive these notes shortly after every class, and they help me to study at home. The atmosphere in the class is very friendly and comfortable. Although I was nervous at first, I am very relaxed with my learning experience and look forward to attend each class with much enthusiasm. Vox Sprach Schule is very well located and maintained to high standards. The administration team has been extremely helpful and flexible towards accommodating my requests in order to ensure my learning experience is productive. I sincerely appreciate, and thank Vox Sprach Schule for placing Mr. Björn as my German teacher as I gave progressed a lot under his guidance. VOX is not the cheapest language school in Zurich, but the quality makes it worth the price. The teachers (such as Joline) are well-qualified and kind, and the small class size and mindful composition is much appreciated. Their administration has also been swiftly responsive to any scheduling or other issues raised.
