Swiss German Courses in Zurich, Winterthur and Online

I have opted for A1 German Intensive online classes with Lilli and it has been an amazing learning experience so far. The classes are well-paced, with an equal emphasis on speaking, reading, writing and listening. In particular, I would rate the online sessions quite high with modern teaching methods and high quality of engagement. I look forward to my German lessons every morning and I have already signed up for A2 online lessons. I’m about to complete my A1 German course with VOX, and I attended the semi-individual class with my partner. The registration process was incredibly quick and seamless, thanks to the excellent support from the administration. We’ve truly enjoyed our lessons and feel that we’ve made significant progress. Elly has been outstanding in creating an engaging and supportive learning environment, while skillfully adapting each session to our individual strengths and areas for improvement. I'm currently taking an in-person German class with Lise, and the experience has been excellent. Lise is an amazing teacher—very supportive and always brings a lot of energy to the lessons. We have a lot of fun while learning, and I've gained so much from her classes. She uses a wide range of materials, including articles, special notes, and videos, which keeps things interesting and interactive. I highly recommend her as a teacher!

VOX in general is very well organized and professional. The Zürich location is convenient near the main train station. My teacher Miriam is a wonderful instructor and I can see that she is planning the lessons around what I understand vs. what I need to work on more. She gives the lessons in 100% German and makes everything very clear, explaining in English only if I really don't understand something. I also appreciate that she asks me what I'd prefer to learn about, helps me with pronunciation, recommends videos to watch and books to read, and she has created special worksheets just for me. I could not imagine a better instructor.

I am American and was on vacation when I recently took a month of biweekly B1 German classes with VOX school in Zurich. It was a LOVELY experience. I enjoyed the diversity of students, and my teacher, Isabelle, Wegmuller, was absolutely exceptional. She had very original and creative ways of presenting new material and engaging the students. She has an astounding grasp of Hoch Deutsch and a vast well of knowledge about so many different things. The time past so quickly, too quickly, and I learned a lot in just a short period of time. I highly recommend this school, and Isabelle, if you can get her. Well done, VOX and Isabelle.

Vox have been really great ever since my first contact and communication with them. Lilli was really great about helping me to find the right course and get everything set up. I have taken private German lessons with Elly and she has been an amazing teacher. I've never been good at learning languages, she is patient and encouraging, but also gently pushes me to outperform my own expectations and keep my learning moving along. I'm really grateful.
