I enrolled in a German A2 individual lessons with Joline, and am very satisfied. I feel I made a lot of progress. The teacher is very flexible, kind and helpful! I strongly recommend this school!
I am finally learning grammar while also learning how to have some conversation apart from “Das Wetter ist gut”. I believe they have a good balance between grammar and conversation and a good pace. This was the second school I tried and I am learning a lot, but I would recommend having studied the very basics before.
Though the price is higher than many other schools, the smaller class sizes and high quality of teachers make it worth it! The course scheduling is flexible and fits my working schedule well. Each teacher is different but I have had only good experiences in my A2 and B1 courses. Teachers are happy to receive feedback to help you learn in the way that is best for you.
The school's own method used by all of its teachers focuses on pronunciation as well as on the vocabulary and grammar needed to be able to communicate within days of starting a course. This is further emphasized by the small size of the groups and the possibility of attending individual lessons, both of which allow the students' needs to be met. Working here is one of the best decisions I have made in my life so far. If you want or need to learn a language, this really is the place to go.
I enrolled in Intensive German class and it has been a good learning experience. Our teacher Ruben is great and teaches in a pace which is not too overwhelming as expected while learning a new language. I would highly recommend Ruben and Vox Sprachschule for learning German.
I had the chance to try two different German schools in Zurich, each with its own pricing and approach. Although both were good in their respective segments, I found Vox especially impressive for its pleasant learning environment and excellent facilities. From the start, I was supported by Maria, who made my onboarding smooth and welcoming. Later, I had the privilege of learning with Professor Alexander, who truly goes above and beyond for his students. He makes learning fun and engaging, adapting his methods to ensure everyone understands. What really stood out to me about this school is that you genuinely feel they care about their students and are not just running a business. For example, there were times I couldn’t attend class, and Alexander kindly offered one-on-one sessions to help me keep up with my classmates. Overall, I highly recommend Vox to anyone looking for a supportive, student-focused German learning experience in Zurich.

I’ve had a great experience with my online German lessons, largely thanks to my teacher, Sara. In addition to being multilingual, she has a very well-structured approach to teaching that makes each lesson clear and effective. She skillfully draws associations with other languages to ensure new concepts are easy to understand. The pace of the lessons is well balanced, and the homework is always relevant and helpful for reinforcing what we’ve covered. As I’m coming to the end of my current lesson package, I’ve already purchased another one, which says a lot about the quality of the teaching. This is the third time I’ve started learning German, and I genuinely feel that I’ve now found the right school and the right teacher to stay motivated, especially given how challenging the language can be. Sara is patient, insightful, and tech-savvy, and her notes are exceptionally neat and easy to follow, making revision straightforward. In this course, you will progress from a basic to an independent user of German and you will be able to deal with most daily situations in German by the end of the course through our speaking-based method. Your experienced teacher will not only help you to improve your language skills, but also to develop strategies for tackling the different parts of the exam efficiently and accurately.
Our classes are very small (3-5 people). This small size means your teacher can adapt to you and any special requirements you may have. Just ask your teacher.
