My learning experience at Vox Sprach Schule with Mr. Björn as my teacher has been extremely positive to date. Within a short timeframe, I have increased my knowledge towards new vocabulary and gained a good understanding of constructing the German grammar. As a result, I am more confident to communicate in public. Equally, I understand more of what I read and hear too. Mr. Björn is always very well prepared, organised and focused. His teaching style is methodical and presented with a lot of attention to detail. He provides me a wide range of solutions, “tips and tricks” to memorise new words, alternative words, and explains different ways on how to best apply them. He does a lot of repetition and provides a lot of examples in the class to make sure that I have thoroughly understood the syllables before moving on to the next lesson. Above all, he does extensive helpful notes which are customised and prepared simultaneously during each class. I receive these notes shortly after every class, and they help me to study at home. The atmosphere in the class is very friendly and comfortable. Although I was nervous at first, I am very relaxed with my learning experience and look forward to attend each class with much enthusiasm. Vox Sprach Schule is very well located and maintained to high standards. The administration team has been extremely helpful and flexible towards accommodating my requests in order to ensure my learning experience is productive. I am currently taking German A1 with VOX-Sprachschule and have been very happy with their concept. The small group size and the skillful teacher have made it easy to reach the goals set, and I signed up for the next level without hesitation. Importantly, I travel a lot in my work and have therefore had to miss out on a number of classes, but this has never been an issue. The teacher has kindly provided me with homework for the lessons missed, so that I have had no problems keeping up with the other students. Also from the admin side everything has been very streamlined. All in all, I warmly recommend this language school.
I had online German course B2 level . There were only 3 people in our class, so I had a lot more chance to talk in German. My teacher Isabel was very professional and friendly, I would definitely recommend her for the lesson. She always gave us the homeworks and sent us back correted answer quickly which helped me a lot as well. It costs quite a lot, but as there are not many students in a class, so it was worth it. Unfortunately, there was no administrations office in Winterthur branch, so it seems all enquries are done only with email or the telephone. But Administrative person calling me back in a short time.
The school's own method used by all of its teachers focuses on pronunciation as well as on the vocabulary and grammar needed to be able to communicate within days of starting a course. This is further emphasized by the small size of the groups and the possibility of attending individual lessons, both of which allow the students' needs to be met. Working here is one of the best decisions I have made in my life so far. If you want or need to learn a language, this really is the place to go.
I enrolled in a German A2 individual lessons with Joline, and am very satisfied. I feel I made a lot of progress. The teacher is very flexible, kind and helpful! I strongly recommend this school!

The Cambridge Advanced exam (formerly known as CAE) corresponds to the C1 level (second highest) of the Common European Framework of Reference for Languages (CEFR) and is accepted by English-speaking universities worldwide. At the C1 level you will be able to communicate successfully at a professional level with a high level of fluency.
Our small class sizes (3-5 students) ensure a lot of individual attention. In such small groups your teacher is able to adapt to any individual needs and requests you may have. The course will help you to expand your vocabulary, fill any grammar gaps and communicate in a more nuanced way.
Materials specially designed for exam preparation will be used to train your ability to accurately answer the type of questions asked in this exam.
