My teachers, Alys and Florian, were outstanding; they prioritized real-life conversation—which I found incredibly helpful—while consistently challenging us to expand our vocabulary. A unique advantage here is the teachers' deep familiarity with the local Swiss German dialect and culture, allowing them to share fascinating cultural insights alongside the curriculum. With small group sizes, everyone has ample opportunity to speak and stay engaged. Highly recommended!

I am so happy and grateful for these two months of intensive German with Evgeniya. After only two weeks of classes, my husband who is German, told me that the improvement in my language skills was already noticeable. My experience with VOX has been overall very positive and I cannot stress enough how their format of teaching to a maximum of 4 people at a time helps students developing their linguistic skills faster: you have more time to speak, to ask questions and to interact with your co-students. I have just completed A1 German intensive with Ruben and I have to say, it really makes a difference when you have a teacher who is truly passionate about what they are teaching. The course felt well organised and I felt comfortable making mistakes (lots of them!) I am finally learning grammar while also learning how to have some conversation apart from “Das Wetter ist gut”. I believe they have a good balance between grammar and conversation and a good pace. This was the second school I tried and I am learning a lot, but I would recommend having studied the very basics before.
