I just finished the semi intensive German A2 course with Yana Antonova. Yana is a great teacher and I loved her style of teaching. She is professional, patient, explains well and makes lessons as interesting and fun as possible for all. We had a group of four that gave all of us plenty of time to practice and ask questions. I started my course at VOX in August, and within a few months I found a better job. The German course was very dynamic. With small classes, we could easily ask questions and practice conversation. I stayed with the teacher, Ieva Jefremova, and you can tell she loves what she does and explains very well. The best choice I made, without a doubt.
I did the online Zoom VOX German A1 course and I am glad I did. I learned a lot from the course and despite my initial reservations in paying to do the course I am very glad I did because I learned a lot more this way. The teacher Alice was excellent throughout and always on hand to help out; she explained things clearly and was lways open to questions . What I thought was very good was she emails us the lesson in a pdf after the lesson and I have the 24 lessons we did and I can easily go back through the material easily again. When I am ready, I will do my A2 with Vox again and hopefully the same teacher, Alice.
The schools is very accommodating of my schedule and preferences. Overall it has been a great experience. I am very happy with my classes with Natalie. She strikes the right balance between grammar and speaking practice. She takes my feedback into consideration and I very much enjoy the learning experience. She is an excellent teacher, patient, knowledgeable, engaging and friendly. She makes learning fun and is definitely one of my all-time favorite teachers! I always look forward to my German classes.

I could ask questions about any grammar topic or vocabulary, and Sébastien would then review and explain everything clearly. I also found the small talk sessions in French with Sébastien quite helpful and enjoyable. I learned a great deal and will be taking the DALF C1 exam in about six weeks. The free trial lesson with the teacher Nathalie in Winterthur also impressed me, and I found the school's location very convenient. The only thing I have to criticize was the organization involved in finding a group French course at the C1 level. While the administrative staff were all friendly, I originally wanted to attend a group course in Winterthur starting in mid-August, but I only received a reply to my emails about once a week, so I ended up taking an online course starting in early September. In retrospect, I also found the online option very good, because the lessons themselves were extremely well-structured and informative. Therefore, I would still like to take another course at the Vox language school. :) (Original) Ich habe einen „super-intensiven“ Onlinekurs besucht. Mein Französisch-Lehrer Sébastien hat den Unterricht sehr abwechslungsreich und spannend gestaltet. Ich konnte zu jedem Grammatik-Thema oder zum Wortschatz Fragen stellen und dies wurde dann gemeinsam mit Sébastien angeschaut und verständlich erklärt. Die Smalltalks auf Französisch mit Sébastien fand ich auch ganz hilfreich und angenehm. Ich konnte sehr viel lernen und werde in etwa sechs Wochen die DALF C1-Prüfung absolvieren. Die kostenlose Probelektion mit der Lehrerin Nathalie in Winterthur hat mich ebenfalls überzeugt und die Lage der Schule habe ich auch sehr gut gefunden. Das einzige, was ich etwas bemängeln muss, war die Organisation bis ein Französisch-Gruppenkurs auf C1-Niveau gefunden werden konnte. Die Mitarbeiter der Administration waren zwar alle freundlich, jedoch wollte ich ursprünglich ab Mitte August einen Gruppenkurs in Winterthur besuchen, aber bekam z. T. nur etwa einmal pro Woche eine Antwort per Mail und besuchte dann schliesslich einen Onlinekurs ab Anfang September. Im Nachhinein habe ich es online aber auch sehr gut gefunden, weil die Lektionen an sich äusserst lehrreich aufgebaut waren. Deshalb würde ich dennoch gerne wieder einen Kurs bei der Vox Sprachschule besuchen. :)
