Vox Language School has an amazing philosophy when it comes to teaching and language learning. The students are in the centre of attention and their needs and wants are focused on with empathy and interest. The whole team is warm and welcoming and as a teacher I especially appreciate the recognition from my students and boss. I can definitely recommend this school to anyone - students and teachers!
I have a great experience at VOX! My teacher Michael is good and ready to help even beyond the class time. The lessons are clear and concise and the classrooms atmosphere are comfortable. Alles ist wunderbar!
Super! I took my German course here and it was really nice. Online lessons allow for maximum flexibility and the teacher assigned to me (Silvan) is really super helpful, he teaches very well, he is organized and kind. The school secretary (Evgenia) has also always been available to support me.
Kenny Müller is an amazing teacher. He is patient, kind, and committed to each student and their learning needs. He comes prepared with many interesting activities and games, and makes learning a stress-free experience. I look forward to each class and have already learned a lot.
... Bonjour !! I did my private french course here. Teacher Mikaela was so kind and I learned a lots from her not only french language but also daily life situation. Owner and administration team was amazing took care and was flexible. I thinking about continue my class in the future. ... If you are looking for language school in The heart of Zurich, I'm highly recommend.
After a long research I found Vox sprachschule and it is definitely the best language course in Zurich. I have been taking English B2 course for 3 months and I definitely recommend it to everyone, I have benefited a lot. Mariia Fedorova is a very warm-blooded and very instructive teacher and I recommend you to take lessons from her if you have the opportunity.
They are best in their profession!!!
It was a pleasure working with VOX. The teachers were wonderful, as was Aida and Thea in helping to organize the schedules (and everything else!) I’ve tried a few language courses, and none were as accommodating and effective as VOX has been for me. I would absolutely recommend them!
(Translated by Google) Very well done! (Original) Super gut gemacht!
Great course, small classes and great teachers. Highly recommended.
As a teacher working for VOX, I could not be happier about my experience here. Teaching to single students or small groups (max five people) allows me to adapt the lessons to their goals, maximize their progress, follow them up thoroughly and establish trustworthy, effective relationships. The focus is on speaking skills, which I consider crucial to prepare the students for contexts of real communication. The team is varied, multilingual, highly motivated and supportive: the students will always find someone that can fit with their timetable and requirements. Finally, the school has a clear ambition to grow, to develop and to provide an ever-improving service. From my point of view, highly recommended for both teachers and students.
I attended a three-month-long B2 English course and can definitely recommend it. The small class sizes were great—we had a class of just four people, and everyone had different strengths and weaknesses. With such small classes, our teacher, Mariia Fedorova, was able to assign tasks individually, making the learning process much more efficient. Overall, I highly recommend both the school and Mariia Fedorova as a teacher.

Course Description
The Cambridge B1 Preliminary (formerly known as PET) shows that you have mastered the basics of English and are now an independent (or intermediate) user of English and the exam is internationally recognised.
In this exam preparation class you will work towards improving your English level alongside targeted exam preparation covering all sections of the exam. Having the correct level is often not enough in a language exam; you also need to know the format and the type of activities and questions. Your teacher will guide you through all sections and help you develop strategies for tackling the exam.
At VOX, our main focus is speaking, which will help the grammar and vocabulary to sink in and give you confidence using spoken English. Our small class sizes (3-5) guarantee you plenty of speaking practice and individual feedback on your progress. Of course, your teacher will not neglect the other skills: listening, reading and writing.

Many people struggle to learn English online because the distance between teacher and student is greater than in the physical world. At VOX-Sprachschule, we have developed a methodology that allows you to actively participate in each lesson so that you can overcome the challenges of physical distance inherent in online courses.
Speaking is the most natural function of language. If we compare learning languages to learning an instrument, the key to success is practice - practicing playing or, in the case of languages, speaking. Once the connections between your brain and the muscles responsible for speech are established, you can create beautifully sounding sentences. At VOX-Sprachschule, you will learn to speak actively - understanding, reading, and writing will follow.
