I initially selected VOX from among a handful of recommended language schools in Zurich because of its broad course offering. But I’ve stayed with VOX because of my incredible teacher, Isabelle. She took me from having absolutely zero knowledge of the German language to passing my A1 exam (which I needed as a condition of my visa to remain in Switzerland) in three months during our small group A1 course (which covered all of A1 and included supplementary test prep material). After completing this group course, I have continued taking individual lessons with Isabelle, completing A2, and am currently working through B1. I would highly recommend VOX, especially Isabelle – she is incredibly professional, has a very effective teaching method, and is patient but also knows when to push you ahead.

I just finished the semi intensive German A2 course with Yana Antonova. Yana is a great teacher and I loved her style of teaching. She is professional, patient, explains well and makes lessons as interesting and fun as possible for all. We had a group of four that gave all of us plenty of time to practice and ask questions. Lessons were moderated very well by Yana. I highly recommend her.

Vox school is in the complex well organized and offers both private lessons and small-group lessons. I liked also the possibility to attend the course online, that makes it even more flexible and gives you the possibility to attend the course from anywhere. I think that one of the advantages of the school is that the teachers are very well prepared. I am enjoying my German course with Larissa, she is very professional and she has very good teaching skills. I also appreciate that she prepares the class in advance and that she always prepare for me a summary of each lesson, that is very helpful for the learning process. Because of my experience, I strongly recommend Vox school.

I started my German language learning journey with Vox Language School as a complete beginner. I took an A1 group course with Solange, which helped me so much to get started in German and allowed me to delve into the fundamentals of German (grammar, vocabulary, pronunciation). Currently, I am taking individual lessons from Tatiana, tailored to my language needs. We are working on more advanced grammar rules, vocabulary and also specific strategies to pass TELC B1 exam. Overall, my experience with Vox is outstanding, especially with individual lessons, I can swiftly progress and learn whatever I need to achieve my language goals. Progressing from the B1 to B2 level in German is one of the most challenging steps. VOX was receptive to our class's feedback and made the necessary changes to our course. Additionally, our teacher, Andersen, was very patient and deeply committed to our language learning success. He worked tirelessly for us and consistently went above and beyond what most teachers would do.

Kenny Müller is an amazing teacher. He is patient, kind, and committed to each student and their learning needs. He comes prepared with many interesting activities and games, and makes learning a stress-free experience. I look forward to each class and have already learned a lot.

I am currently doing a B2 German course with 3 other students online. All the other courses I have done in other schools have been in much larger groups. I feel that the course is more tailored to us as individuals and I’m learning more as a result. Agi is an excellent teacher! She explains everything clearly, allows us to practise and corrects our mistakes without destroying confidence. This has been perfect for me as a refresher course but you would have to be motivated to do extra homework if everything were new as the speed is quite fast. I am finally getting to grips with cases and am slowly learning to speak with fewer grammatical errors. I would highly recommend Vox to those who want to learn quickly and want to improve their speaking ability.

I was taking individual classes and I had good teacher during the training. More focus on practical learning vs. overkill with grammar.
