I just completed another great course for advanced German language learners. The course was tailored exactly to my needs with ample opportunity to talk and build vocabulary in so many different topics and themes. Our teacher Solange Morel was excellent. She made the class interesting, helping us build our oral, reading and listening skills. She also picked up the grammar areas where we needed a refresher and wove that skillfully in the lessons. After a long research I found Vox sprachschule and it is definitely the best language course in Zurich. I have been taking English B2 course for 3 months and I definitely recommend it to everyone, I have benefited a lot. Mariia Fedorova is a very warm-blooded and very instructive teacher and I recommend you to take lessons from her if you have the opportunity.
I initially selected VOX from among a handful of recommended language schools in Zurich because of its broad course offering. But I’ve stayed with VOX because of my incredible teacher, Isabelle. She took me from having absolutely zero knowledge of the German language to passing my A1 exam (which I needed as a condition of my visa to remain in Switzerland) in three months during our small group A1 course (which covered all of A1 and included supplementary test prep material). After completing this group course, I have continued taking individual lessons with Isabelle, completing A2, and am currently working through B1. I would highly recommend VOX, especially Isabelle – she is incredibly professional, has a very effective teaching method, and is patient but also knows when to push you ahead.
