(Translated by Google) The school is located a 5-minute walk from the central station, which is very convenient! Very polite, pleasant staff, they always try to solve all problems and questions of students, considering each situation individually. Small groups of 2-5 students, which allows teachers to pay attention to each student, so success in language learning can be seen from the first lessons. I would also like to mention my German teacher, Yvonne Vogt, who in 2 months not only laid a stable foundation for further learning the language, but also managed to instill in us a love for the German language. You immediately feel that this is her vocation, and she very accessible and easily conveys all the necessary information. It was a pleasure to participate in the intensive A1 course at your school.
Though the price is higher than many other schools, the smaller class sizes and high quality of teachers make it worth it! The course scheduling is flexible and fits my working schedule well. Each teacher is different but I have had only good experiences in my A2 and B1 courses. Teachers are happy to receive feedback to help you learn in the way that is best for you.
I enjoy all of my German lessons and I feel like I am advancing quite fast! The teacher, Maxi, is excellent. He is very thorough and has a vast knowledge of linguistics. I can only recommend VOX-Sprachschule Zürich! Update from 2 years later - I just got my B2 Goethe certificate: I could not have done it with the excellent support of Yvonne, who is an excellent teacher.
Excellent school! One of the best schools I had the pleasure to work with, great teachers, attention to detail and demands! Very well prepared teachers, prompt in answering, great learning experience! Thank you Vox and Elisaveta Savina! Highly recommend!
I just completed another great course for advanced German language learners. The course was tailored exactly to my needs with ample opportunity to talk and build vocabulary in so many different topics and themes. Our teacher Solange Morel was excellent. She made the class interesting, helping us build our oral, reading and listening skills. She also picked up the grammar areas where we needed a refresher and wove that skillfully in the lessons. Thank you Vox and Solange for the great experience. Looking forward to the next course.
I learnt Russian with Vox-Sprachschule. Currently I learn German and Arabic with them. They have very professional teachers, and individual flexible approach to students. I'd especially like to recommend Mr Botchkarev as a teacher to people who think they are bad at learning languages. Mr. Botchkarev will not only teach you the language, but also will learn you how to learn languages.
Highly recommend it!!
I am currently in the A2 German course at VOX. I am extremely happy with their services. The class I am in has 4 people which makes each lesson feel like private or semi-private. My teacher Isabelle is fantastic. She pushes us to only speak in German throughout the lesson which I can tell has boosted my grammar and speaking abilities. She makes each class interactive by explaining the theory and then letting us put it into practice, there is a lot of emphasis on speaking. I truly appreciate her teaching style and the confidence VOX has given me to speak more German in my everyday life.
Great teacher and very helpful staff
(Translated by Google) My teacher, Yana, is fantastic. We can practice speaking a lot, on different topics. My speaking skills improved after the course. (Original) Meine Lehrerin, Yana, ist fantastisch. Wir können viel Sprechen üben, zu verschiedenen Themen. Meine Sprechfähigkeiten haben sich nach dem Kurs verbessert.
Excellent!
(Translated by Google) I loved the place and the teacher is very very good, she makes it very easy to learn and helps you, she is very attentive and professional, I love it (Original) Ich habe den Ort geliebt und die Lehrerin ist sehr sehr gut, sie macht es sehr einfach zu lernen und hilft dir, sie ist sehr aufmerksam und professionell, ich liebe es

Course Description
If you are ready to sit your first intermediate level exam for German, then this course is for you. This course is also perfect for those who want to gain Swiss citizenship and need to prove that they have B1-level speaking skills or for your C-permit.
In this course, you will progress from a basic to an independent user of German and you will be able to deal with most daily situations in German by the end of the course through our speaking-based method. Your experienced teacher will not only help you to improve your language skills, but also to develop strategies for tackling the different parts of the exam efficiently and accurately.
Our classes are very small (3-5 people). This small size means your teacher can adapt to you and any special requirements you may have. Just ask your teacher. This course will cover all parts of the exam: reading comprehension, listening comprehension, language elements (vocabulary and grammar), writing and, naturally, VOX’s specialty, speaking. Through repetition of exam-like exercises in class, working through the exam will be a breeze by the end.
If you didn’t find any course in the course list, please fill out our non binding inquiry form, we might still have a course for you.

Many people struggle to learn German due to psychological barriers preventing them from actively speaking. At VOX-Sprachschule, we have developed a methodology that grants you the possibility to overcome whatever difficulties you may encounter when looking for the most efficient way to learn how to speak. Our teachers will constantly pay attention to your individual learning needs, which is guaranteed to make your experience at VOX-Sprachschule a success story.
Speaking is the most natural function of language. If we compare learning languages to learning an instrument, the key to success is practice - practicing playing or, in the case of languages, speaking. Once the connections between your brain and the muscles responsible for speech are established, you can create beautifully sounding sentences. At VOX-Sprachschule, you will learn to speak actively - understanding, reading, and writing will follow.
