Intensive English C1 Courses at Zurich Central

I have loved everything about this Sprachschule, from the structure, to the teacher, to the administration. They are very quick at responding, very kind, and efficient. I have been in contact with different staff members, Ekaterina and Maria, and they have both been amazing. In addition, my teacher Yvonne is always energetic and helpful, encouraging us to speak and listening with so much patience. I am so happy to be continuing with them and would recommend it to anyone. I do feel like my German is already so much better.

Great learning experience! I recommend this school to anybody who wants to get a step forward with his/her speaking skills. Class size of 3 to 5 students allows you to take advantage of every minute of the lessons.

I took the standard B1 level class (Dienstag und Donnerstag Abendkurs) with Elena. She was a wonderful teacher and taught the grammar rules in a way I really understood. She also consistently corrected my Aussprache, which I appreciated (strong American accent here). Moreover, I was thankful for her help with my special request to prepare me for the Telc B1 test. Furthermore, I liked the availability of the Abendkurs (19:30-21:00) because I was able to attend after work. The standard class also covered a lot of material in 3 months. I recommend it if you can dedicate a generous amount of time to study.

As a teacher working for VOX, I could not be happier about my experience here. Teaching to single students or small groups (max five people) allows me to adapt the lessons to their goals, maximize their progress, follow them up thoroughly and establish trustworthy, effective relationships. The focus is on speaking skills, which I consider crucial to prepare the students for contexts of real communication. The team is varied, multilingual, highly motivated and supportive: the students will always find someone that can fit with their timetable and requirements. Finally, the school has a clear ambition to grow, to develop and to provide an ever-improving service. From my point of view, highly recommended for both teachers and students.

I'm currently taking an in-person German class with Lise, and the experience has been excellent. Lise is an amazing teacher—very supportive and always brings a lot of energy to the lessons. We have a lot of fun while learning, and I've gained so much from her classes. She uses a wide range of materials, including articles, special notes, and videos, which keeps things interesting and interactive. I highly recommend her as a teacher!

Evgeniya led our B2 German course for the first two weeks, while our main teacher was on holiday. I was very impressed by her knowledge and attention to detail, and I very much appreciated her friendly and approachable manner. I expect our next teacher from VOX will be excellent as well, but I will miss her and hope I have the chance to learn from her again at some point!

The course is going very well, Olga is a great teacher. I'm generally quite happy with the online option, although I prefer face to face. Olga adapts to my needs, corrects my errors spotting. She does her job well and I am making progress.

I took the A1 and A2 German classes at VOX and I quickly changed my perception from "I have to learn German" to "I want to learn German". It was a pleasure taking these classes. Alexander Lips is a great teacher, who makes German learning fun and interactive, always adapting to each student's needs.
