Individual English Intermediate Lessons in Zurich Enge

Me and my wife took 5 different classes at VOX and we are 100% satisfied with the level of attention and quality of instructions we have recieved during our courses. Both German (A1, A2) and English (C1) classes helped us in ramping up our language skills.

After a few courses at VOX, studying German, I can only recommend it for: 1) the quality / professionalism of the teaching (always prepared, hand-outs if necessary, follow-ups over email if a class is missed and topics / words / concepts promptly addressed the following lessons); 2) flexibility of the teaching and administration; 3) small class size (one of my main selection criteria) which allows for a good practice / feedback for all students; 4) convenient location close to HB (which was a big plus when you are trying to strike a balance with work and other chores). Both teachers I had so far (Coralie and Larissa) were extremely helpful, accurate and kind and helped me moved towards my goals.

Great german lessons which really helped me learn fast. Our teacher was excellent at explaining everything and made each lesson fun and interesting! Would definitely recommend.

I initially selected VOX from among a handful of recommended language schools in Zurich because of its broad course offering. But I’ve stayed with VOX because of my incredible teacher, Isabelle. She took me from having absolutely zero knowledge of the German language to passing my A1 exam (which I needed as a condition of my visa to remain in Switzerland) in three months during our small group A1 course (which covered all of A1 and included supplementary test prep material). After completing this group course, I have continued taking individual lessons with Isabelle, completing A2, and am currently working through B1. I would highly recommend VOX, especially Isabelle – she is incredibly professional, has a very effective teaching method, and is patient but also knows when to push you ahead.

For professional reasons, I enrolled in the course with a ''private'' teacher, Joline. My goal was to be able to erase some mistakes I kept repeating and to hone my skills in dative and accusative. The course was useful, I saw progress in a short time as well as finding a professional, friendly and flexible instructor(Time). I can recommend the course

I’m about to complete my A1 German course with VOX, and I attended the semi-individual class with my partner. The registration process was incredibly quick and seamless, thanks to the excellent support from the administration. We’ve truly enjoyed our lessons and feel that we’ve made significant progress. Elly has been outstanding in creating an engaging and supportive learning environment, while skillfully adapting each session to our individual strengths and areas for improvement. We would highly recommend VOX to anyone.

Vox have been really great ever since my first contact and communication with them. Lilli was really great about helping me to find the right course and get everything set up. I have taken private German lessons with Elly and she has been an amazing teacher. I've never been good at learning languages, she is patient and encouraging, but also gently pushes me to outperform my own expectations and keep my learning moving along. I'm really grateful.
