I would like to share my experience with Vox-Sprachschule, which has been extremely positive from start to finish. From the moment I arrived, I received a very warm and professional welcome from Maxime. He took the time to clearly explain how the program works and ensured that I felt comfortable and confident about the learning process ahead. I also had the opportunity to learn with an outstanding teacher, Mariia. Her teaching approach is both engaging and highly effective. Thanks to her guidance, I have made significant progress and can genuinely see my improvement in English. She creates a supportive and motivating environment, which makes learning both enjoyable and rewarding. Overall, I highly recommend Vox-Sprachschule to anyone looking for a serious and well-structured language learning experience. After a few courses at VOX, studying German, I can only recommend it for: 1) the quality / professionalism of the teaching (always prepared, hand-outs if necessary, follow-ups over email if a class is missed and topics / words / concepts promptly addressed the following lessons); 2) flexibility of the teaching and administration; 3) small class size (one of my main selection criteria) which allows for a good practice / feedback for all students; 4) convenient location close to HB (which was a big plus when you are trying to strike a balance with work and other chores). Both teachers I had so far (Coralie and Larissa) were extremely helpful, accurate and kind and helped me moved towards my goals.

Small groups, good progress, relaxed atmosphere

Learning A1 German at Vox has been very positive experience. They are very flexible, accommodative and their teachers are passionate about what they do. I have enjoyed very embarking on this challenging journey of learning German with Vox. They definitely made it easier

I've been having an A1 German class with Yelyzaveta Berezovska for the past 3 months. Elly is an amazing teacher—her methods are so effective, and she’s incredibly patient. I like how she gamifies a lot of the exercises, making learning really fun and engaging. She’s always on top of everyone’s progress and is super conscious about where we all are with our knowledge. I love how she has a great way of pushing us to flex our brain muscles by encouraging us to use what we already know to mimic real-life situations as much as possible. After every class, I genuinely feel like I am making progress.

I am currently in the A2 German course at VOX. I am extremely happy with their services. The class I am in has 4 people which makes each lesson feel like private or semi-private. My teacher Isabelle is fantastic. She pushes us to only speak in German throughout the lesson which I can tell has boosted my grammar and speaking abilities. She makes each class interactive by explaining the theory and then letting us put it into practice, there is a lot of emphasis on speaking. I truly appreciate her teaching style and the confidence VOX has given me to speak more German in my everyday life.

I had a German A1 course in Vox, with Yelyzaveta Berezovska as a teacher. I am very satisfied with Elly's teaching approach. She was paying attention to each student's progress and helped us overcome the difficulties that we had with the material. The classes were structured well with short repetitions of the previously learned material, then learning new material, summarising what we had learned at the end of each class, and setting homework assignments. Besides following the workbook, there were a lot of interactive exercises that Elly had prepared herself, that challenged us to practice what we had learned. Also a lot of out of the book homework in addition. I had the feeling that I was progressing after each class. The workbook "Sprachniveau A1+ Begegnungen, Deutsch als Fremdsprache" by Anne Buscha and Szilvia Szita we used in the class was structured and thought through extremely well. What I like about the school is that there is an option to visit the classes online. This is really convenient not to miss classes when traveling. The online courses worked surprisingly well, as the school classrooms are equipped for online teaching as well and Elly was making sure that you feel like you are really in the classroom. The team in Vox was really collaborative and helpful. The location of the school on Central was very convenient.

Thoroughly enjoyed the course!

I'm currently doing a B1 online German group course and so far the experience has been really great. The teacher (Yulia) is very professional, is fully prepared for each class, makes things interesting by mixing teaching content (text book, youtube videos, poem listening) and most importantly encourages us to speak, speak, speak! Can highly recommend.
