Great place to learn German. The teachers and the admin team do a great job of creating a very personalised experience. May seem expensive at first sight but you should consider that Vox do one level (A1, A2 etc.) as one course, rather than dividing a level into 3 courses as other schools do.

I am now in the process of completing the third program with this school and wanted to share my unsolicited feedback publicly. The school offers a proper placement test in German that significantnly helps with the choice of program. The programs are well designed and priced at Zürich market standards. The sales team is excellent and although the support team could be more diligent they address concerns respectfully and considerately. My last comment goes to the teachers. This profession is exceptionally difficult yet each of them delivers to the best of their abilities ; of course, some are also exceptional and I will be eternally grateful for sharing their wisdom with me. Side note: the marketing video is enthusiastic and funny, although somehow heroic, and therefore, perhaps dated. This is a private enterprise. Still running a school remains an invaluable public function and its success is a lucky collective effort. Perhaps a more collective show might have been more representative of the overall operation :) I warmly recommend the school if you want to learn German.

I had a German A1 course in Vox, with Yelyzaveta Berezovska as a teacher. I am very satisfied with Elly's teaching approach. The classes were structured well with short repetitions of the previously learned material, then learning new material, summarising what we had learned at the end of each class, and setting homework assignments. Besides following the workbook, there were a lot of interactive exercises that Elly had prepared herself, that challenged us to practice what we had learned. Also a lot of out of the book homework in addition. I had the feeling that I was progressing after each class. The workbook "Sprachniveau A1+ Begegnungen, Deutsch als Fremdsprache" by Anne Buscha and Szilvia Szita we used in the class was structured and thought through extremely well.
