Great language school with amazing teachers! I can especially recommended Sabrina and Felicity, both very professional and friendly, explain everything in a great detail, encourage to talk and help you to pronounce words correctly. The admin staff also very accommodating and helpful.

I could ask questions about any grammar topic or vocabulary, and Sébastien would then review and explain everything clearly. I also found the small talk sessions in French with Sébastien quite helpful and enjoyable. I learned a great deal and will be taking the DALF C1 exam in about six weeks. The free trial lesson with the teacher Nathalie in Winterthur also impressed me, and I found the school's location very convenient. The only thing I have to criticize was the organization involved in finding a group French course at the C1 level. While the administrative staff were all friendly, I originally wanted to attend a group course in Winterthur starting in mid-August, but I only received a reply to my emails about once a week, so I ended up taking an online course starting in early September. In retrospect, I also found the online option very good, because the lessons themselves were extremely well-structured and informative. Therefore, I would still like to take another course at the Vox language school. :) (Original) Ich habe einen „super-intensiven“ Onlinekurs besucht. Mein Französisch-Lehrer Sébastien hat den Unterricht sehr abwechslungsreich und spannend gestaltet. Ich konnte zu jedem Grammatik-Thema oder zum Wortschatz Fragen stellen und dies wurde dann gemeinsam mit Sébastien angeschaut und verständlich erklärt. Die Smalltalks auf Französisch mit Sébastien fand ich auch ganz hilfreich und angenehm. Ich konnte sehr viel lernen und werde in etwa sechs Wochen die DALF C1-Prüfung absolvieren. Die kostenlose Probelektion mit der Lehrerin Nathalie in Winterthur hat mich ebenfalls überzeugt und die Lage der Schule habe ich auch sehr gut gefunden. Das einzige, was ich etwas bemängeln muss, war die Organisation bis ein Französisch-Gruppenkurs auf C1-Niveau gefunden werden konnte. Die Mitarbeiter der Administration waren zwar alle freundlich, jedoch wollte ich ursprünglich ab Mitte August einen Gruppenkurs in Winterthur besuchen, aber bekam z. T. nur etwa einmal pro Woche eine Antwort per Mail und besuchte dann schliesslich einen Onlinekurs ab Anfang September. Im Nachhinein habe ich es online aber auch sehr gut gefunden, weil die Lektionen an sich äusserst lehrreich aufgebaut waren. Deshalb würde ich dennoch gerne wieder einen Kurs bei der Vox Sprachschule besuchen. :)

I can highly recommend VOX-Sprachschule. I however can only comment on the 1-1 online / video training sessions. We opted this route, it is more expensive (not cheap) but it works for us as our tutor fits in with our hectic work schedules. Our tutor Yvonne is very flexible with her lessons should someone from work arise and we cannot attend the lesson, rescheduling is never a problem. Everyone’s needs are different when learning a language and Yvonne has managed to tailor make the lessons for our needs. She is super knowledgeable of the language we are learning and her English is of a superb standard. The extra touch , Yvonne is teaching us German , however she also will add in some Swiss phrases which she feels would be beneficial to us. She sends all the online screenshot to us after our lesson so we can refer back to the notes of that particular lecture. She marks the given homework promptly. I’ve had a couple of enquires that I had to make with the school and always had a prompt response. Please note again , it is not cheap, but it is like most things in life , you get what you pay for. I am by no means running down any other language schools , however a big group was not what we wanted , we wanted 1-1 sessions where we could bond with our tutor and our needs have been met.

I was surprised myself how fast I made progress with my language skills. Very professional teachers teach at VOX, who know their field very well.

I had a truly exceptional experience learning German at VOX. I am incredibly satisfied with the progress I made during my course. My teacher, Evgeniya, is the reason this course was so successful for me. She is a phenomenal instructor, and I recommend her wholeheartedly! She perfectly balanced grammar exercises with practical, real-life conversational practice. My ability to speak German (Sprechen) has improved immensely thanks to her constant encouragement and well-designed activities. This was the best language learning experience I've ever had. I had a wonderful experience with this German school! The customer service was exceptional, and the classes were tailored to my individual level. What really stood out to me was how engaging the teachers were - not only did they use practical examples to supplement the typical grammar learning approach, but they also made the classes incredibly entertaining. Vox Sprachschule has been a great service provider for dependable German learning courses. Customer communication has been great and trustworthy. I was able to revise my German lessons taken earlier and feel confident that I will be able to take the A2 Telc exam successfully. After a long research I found Vox sprachschule and it is definitely the best language course in Zurich. I have been taking English B2 course for 3 months and I definitely recommend it to everyone, I have benefited a lot. Mariia Fedorova is a very warm-blooded and very instructive teacher and I recommend you to take lessons from her if you have the opportunity.
