My wife and I took online private lessons at Vox. Our sole aim was to pass the B1 Goethe test in all modules. Yvonne Vogt was our teacher and she was simply brilliant! Yvonne ordered the right materials for us starting from the textbooks to exercises to model exams. She even conducted mock exams for us on the hearing and speaking modules. I’ve really enjoyed the intensive A2 German course. The teacher is super important for motivation and encouragement, and it’s been great. I’ve had a patient and engaging teacher, the class is small (5 students), the level among students is pretty even, there’s a lot of homework, but the dedication is up to you, no negativity. It has actually exceeded my expectations. It’s a hard language, and they understand our struggle.

The school's own method used by all of its teachers focuses on pronunciation as well as on the vocabulary and grammar needed to be able to communicate within days of starting a course. The A2 Key (formerly KET) exam preparation course is suitable for students who already possess basic knowledge of English (completed A1) and corresponds to the A2 level of the Common European Framework of Reference for Languages (CEFR). Your teacher will help you improve your level, particularly your speaking level, through varied practice in our small groups (3-5 students). You will receive ample feedback from your teacher thanks to the small class sizes. Speaking practice is vital to make you feel comfortable speaking the language in real-life situations and will help the grammar sink in.
