The best language school in Zürich. I took the German Goethe B1 for 1 year until September - and had success at the exams recently. Place and location superb, small group of classmates, a great teacher - Kathrine Spaar was knowledgeable, resourceful, kept us motivated and made the lessons interesting and fun(which is hard to do in German!). What made me though initially decide on this school was how open and flexible were to my special requests. I greatly appreciated that they continued to offer options and solutions to some personal issues I had during the course; every person I was in contact with was kind, responsive and eager to find a way to the best result - special kudos and thanXXX to Evgenia. I rarely had come along to this combination of skills and humanity, so it's a strong recommendation and good luck to your language journey @ VOX

Wir haben mit Leah oft die Wortherkunft, die genaue Bedeutung und den „Verwendungsbereich“ von neuen Vokabeln angeschaut, was es mir enorm erleichtert hat mir diese zu merken und zu verstehen. Leahs aufmerksame und sympathische Art zu unterrichten hat sehr gut zu mir gepasst. Ich würde sofort wieder zu ihr in den Unterricht gehen. Gerade spontan kommt mir nichts in den Sinn, das man hätte besser machen können, ausser vielleicht dass wir die Bücher erst Mitte des Kurses erhalten haben, was erstens nicht euer Fehler war und zweitens gar nicht so gestört hat. Leah hat das super gemanagt :)

I am American and was on vacation when I recently took a month of biweekly B1 German classes with VOX school in Zurich. It was a LOVELY experience. I enjoyed the diversity of students, and my teacher, Isabelle, Wegmuller, was absolutely exceptional. She had very original and creative ways of presenting new material and engaging the students. She has an astounding grasp of Hoch Deutsch and a vast well of knowledge about so many different things. The time past so quickly, too quickly, and I learned a lot in just a short period of time. I highly recommend this school, and Isabelle, if you can get her. Well done, VOX and Isabelle.

I had a German A1 course in Vox, with Yelyzaveta Berezovska as a teacher. I am very satisfied with Elly's teaching approach. She was paying attention to each student's progress and helped us overcome the difficulties that we had with the material. The classes were structured well with short repetitions of the previously learned material, then learning new material, summarising what we had learned at the end of each class, and setting homework assignments. Besides following the workbook, there were a lot of interactive exercises that Elly had prepared herself, that challenged us to practice what we had learned. Also a lot of out of the book homework in addition. I had the feeling that I was progressing after each class. The workbook "Sprachniveau A1+ Begegnungen, Deutsch als Fremdsprache" by Anne Buscha and Szilvia Szita we used in the class was structured and thought through extremely well. What I like about the school is that there is an option to visit the classes online. This is really convenient not to miss classes when traveling.
