Wir haben mit Leah oft die Wortherkunft, die genaue Bedeutung und den „Verwendungsbereich“ von neuen Vokabeln angeschaut, was es mir enorm erleichtert hat mir diese zu merken und zu verstehen. Leahs aufmerksame und sympathische Art zu unterrichten hat sehr gut zu mir gepasst. Ich würde sofort wieder zu ihr in den Unterricht gehen. Gerade spontan kommt mir nichts in den Sinn, das man hätte besser machen können, ausser vielleicht dass wir die Bücher erst Mitte des Kurses erhalten haben, was erstens nicht euer Fehler war und zweitens gar nicht so gestört hat. Leah hat das super gemanagt :)

I began my journey of learning German at VOX-Sprachschule Winterthur at the A2 level, and it has been an incredible experience. The school has well-structured courses and thoughtfully prepared materials that supported my learning at every step. I noticed significant progress in my skills almost immediately, which motivated me to continue with confidence and aim for the B2 level in the future. The administrative team was extremely responsive to any questions, whether communicated via telephone or email. Our teacher, Daniel Margiotta, was exceptional—humble, professional, and assertive in his teaching approach. I truly appreciate his dedication and the effort he put into making the lessons engaging and effective. I am deeply grateful for his support and would highly recommend VOX-Sprachschule to anyone looking to improve their German.

I can highly recommend VOX-Sprachschule. I however can only comment on the 1-1 online / video training sessions. We opted this route, it is more expensive (not cheap) but it works for us as our tutor fits in with our hectic work schedules. Our tutor Yvonne is very flexible with her lessons should someone from work arise and we cannot attend the lesson, rescheduling is never a problem. Everyone’s needs are different when learning a language and Yvonne has managed to tailor make the lessons for our needs. She is super knowledgeable of the language we are learning and her English is of a superb standard. The extra touch , Yvonne is teaching us German , however she also will add in some Swiss phrases which she feels would be beneficial to us. She sends all the online screenshot to us after our lesson so we can refer back to the notes of that particular lecture. She marks the given homework promptly. I’ve had a couple of enquires that I had to make with the school and always had a prompt response. Please note again , it is not cheap, but it is like most things in life , you get what you pay for. I am by no means running down any other language schools , however a big group was not what we wanted , we wanted 1-1 sessions where we could bond with our tutor and our needs have been met.

Vox Sprachschule has been a great service provider for dependable German learning courses. Customer communication has been great and trustworthy. I was able to revise my German lessons taken earlier and feel confident that I will be able to take the A2 Telc exam successfully. My thanks goes to my tutor Isabelle W. who was instrumental in taking me through the paces with her genuine encoragement and knowledgeable inputs. I wish the school and all its tutors all the best.

I initially selected VOX from among a handful of recommended language schools in Zurich because of its broad course offering. But I’ve stayed with VOX because of my incredible teacher, Isabelle. She took me from having absolutely zero knowledge of the German language to passing my A1 exam (which I needed as a condition of my visa to remain in Switzerland) in three months during our small group A1 course (which covered all of A1 and included supplementary test prep material). After completing this group course, I have continued taking individual lessons with Isabelle, completing A2, and am currently working through B1. I would highly recommend VOX, especially Isabelle – she is incredibly professional, has a very effective teaching method, and is patient but also knows when to push you ahead.

The course fully met my expectations. Highly skilled teacher and good organization allowing to effectively reschedule classes when needed. Recommended.
