I had online German course B2 level . There were only 3 people in our class, so I had a lot more chance to talk in German. My teacher Isabel was very professional and friendly, I would definitely recommend her for the lesson. She always gave us the homeworks and sent us back correted answer quickly which helped me a lot as well. It costs quite a lot, but as there are not many students in a class, so it was worth it. Unfortunately, there was no administrations office in Winterthur branch, so it seems all enquries are done only with email or the telephone. But Administrative person calling me back in a short time.

Dabei hat er einerseits individuelle Schwächen erkannt und darauf den Lernfokus gelegt und andererseits konnte er immer wieder auftauchende Spontanfragen zur französischen Sprache stets souverän und gut beantworten. Being a teacher at VOX is a very rich and joyful experience. The VOX method allows the students to get to meet a language from one of the most important sides of it – speaking. Back in the days, when I was learning English and French, a method such as the VOX-method would have helped me a lot and I would have loved to get to know it earlier. VOX provides a learning atmosphere that gives the students a chance to learn a language with a lot of motivation. One of the many advantages is also that the school is located right next to the main train station and that is very convenient both for the students and the teachers.
I can highly recommend VOX-Sprachschule. I however can only comment on the 1-1 online / video training sessions. We opted this route, it is more expensive (not cheap) but it works for us as our tutor fits in with our hectic work schedules. Our tutor Yvonne is very flexible with her lessons should someone from work arise and we cannot attend the lesson, rescheduling is never a problem. Everyone’s needs are different when learning a language and Yvonne has managed to tailor make the lessons for our needs. She is super knowledgeable of the language we are learning and her English is of a superb standard. The extra touch , Yvonne is teaching us German , however she also will add in some Swiss phrases which she feels would be beneficial to us. She sends all the online screenshot to us after our lesson so we can refer back to the notes of that particular lecture. She marks the given homework promptly. I’ve had a couple of enquires that I had to make with the school and always had a prompt response. Please note again , it is not cheap, but it is like most things in life , you get what you pay for. I am by no means running down any other language schools , however a big group was not what we wanted , we wanted 1-1 sessions where we could bond with our tutor and our needs have been met.

I have been struggled so much with complex grammer and vocabularies in B1 german course, but with Isabelle, especially thanks to her thorough and detailed way of teaching, it has been so much fun and very motivating! You will be surprised how engaging and committing she is with students. Vox also provides all the infra we need to learn without any obstacles.
