Course Description
By passing the Cambridge B2 First, formerly Cambridge English: First (FCE) you demonstrate your ability to work and live independently in an English-speaking country. At this level you are able to communicate effectively in most face-to-face situations in an English-speaking environment and attend courses in English. You can follow the news and write different types of texts. The Cambridge B2 First exam is also internationally accepted for many tertiary courses in English-speaking countries.
You will build on your English knowledge in class through varied activities using learning materials specially designed for exam preparation. You will develop effective strategies to help you tackle all sections of the exam with confidence. You will regularly write new texts to improve your writing style which will help you reach your academic and professional goals while getting ample speaking practice to boost your ability to discuss a wide variety of topics in a more nuanced fashion. Our groups at VOX are small (2-5 people) so your teacher will be able to adapt to any specific needs and requests you may have. By the end of the course you will be excellently prepared to sit the B2 First with confidence.

I attended two German courses with my teacher Elly who is really good and patient and always ready to help you in case of difficulty. I really liked the lessons, we had a lot of conversation to improve our language and it was effective. I did the online Zoom VOX German A1 course and I am glad I did. I learned a lot from the course and despite my initial reservations in paying to do the course I am very glad I did because I learned a lot more this way. The teacher Alice was excellent throughout and always on hand to help out; she explained things clearly and was lways open to questions . What I thought was very good was she emails us the lesson in a pdf after the lesson and I have the 24 lessons we did and I can easily go back through the material easily again. When I am ready, I will do my A2 with Vox again and hopefully the same teacher, Alice.
