Early Morning B1 German Course in Zurich Central

This is an excellent language school. I was looking for a flexible program that could accommodate my work and travel schedule, and yet allow me to gain a working knowledge of German fairly quickly. The staff at VOX-sprachschule were incredibly cooperative and helpful. With their assistance I was able to find the right level and schedule for lessons. In my case this was private lessons via video. But am sure the group lessons are excellent as well. The teaching materials and the quality of instruction is really superb. I am especially pleased with my instructor, Isabelle Wegmüller, who is very knowledgeable, patient and fun. I am making good progress and expect to continue on with my lessons for the foreseeable future. I highly recommend this language school.

She is really prepared and with a great deal of passion in her job - I can guarantee you that it makes a very big difference when you are learning something new. I have taken two classes with Isabel - b1 and b2 German and i have been very happy with both. She’s an excellent and compassionate teacher. I like the emphasis on communication - reading, writing and speaking. I like the online format, and the teaching materials. I‘ve learned a lot and will consider a Vox class when I continue.

I initially selected VOX from among a handful of recommended language schools in Zurich because of its broad course offering. But I’ve stayed with VOX because of my incredible teacher, Isabelle. She took me from having absolutely zero knowledge of the German language to passing my A1 exam (which I needed as a condition of my visa to remain in Switzerland) in three months during our small group A1 course (which covered all of A1 and included supplementary test prep material). After completing this group course, I have continued taking individual lessons with Isabelle, completing A2, and am currently working through B1. I would highly recommend VOX, especially Isabelle – she is incredibly professional, has a very effective teaching method, and is patient but also knows when to push you ahead.
