On B1 level at VOX, you will work towards the goal of being able to speak actively and independently, because at level B1 practically all of the grammar required for speaking freely will be completed. To achieve this, the principles of language usage on B1 level will be explained to you in a simple way using the VOX method, so that you can apply them immediately in your everyday life. We will work in a very focused and playful way on the sentence structure, declension of the nouns, declension of the adjectives, verb conjugation, Konjunktiv II, tenses and prepositions so that you can master these topics perfectly by the end of the course.

The Common European Framework (CEFR) defines specific objectives for B1 level.
- Can understand the main points of clear standard input on familiar matters regularly encountered in work, school, leisure, etc.

Course Description
If you are ready to sit your first intermediate level exam for German, then this course is for you. This course is also perfect for those who want to gain Swiss citizenship and need to prove that they have B1-level speaking skills or for your C-permit.
In this course, you will progress from a basic to an independent user of German and you will be able to deal with most daily situations in German. Your experienced teacher will help you to improve your language skills and also develop strategies for tackling the different parts of the exam. Our classes are small (3-5 people). This small size means your teacher can adapt to you and your needs. This exam preparation course will cover all parts of the exam: reading comprehension, listening comprehension, language elements (vocabulary and grammar), writing and, naturally, VOX’s specialty, speaking, and will familiarise you with the structure of each section. By using Telc-specific exam preparation materials you will be fully prepared for the exam by the end of the course.

Enrolled on the intensive German course and it has been great fun. Learnt a lot more quickly than I was expecting. The small class format and focus on speaking has really made a difference. The teacher Ruben has been great and is always able to explain concepts in a way that make them more understandable and helps with learning. Our experience with VOX Language School has been nothing short of amazing. We enrolled for an A2 German course in February and it was the best decision we made. Tri, our teacher has been super patient, always asking us for feedback and constantly adjusting the course to our level and needs. He has provided us with a lot of resources to practice German, on top of the book and I really enjoy his teaching method. The communication with everyone at the school has been great! I would recommend this school to anyone looking to learn a new language or improve their current level.
VOX is not the cheapest language school in Zurich, but the quality makes it worth the price.
