On B1 level at VOX, you will work towards the goal of being able to speak actively and independently, because at level B1 practically all of the grammar required for speaking freely will be completed. To achieve this, the principles of language usage on B1 level will be explained to you in a simple way using the VOX method, so that you can apply them immediately in your everyday life. We will work in a very focused and playful way on the sentence structure, declension of the nouns, declension of the adjectives, verb conjugation, Konjunktiv II, tenses and prepositions so that you can master these topics perfectly by the end of the course.

The Common European Framework (CEFR) defines specific objectives for B1 level.
- Can understand the main points of clear standard input on familiar matters regularly encountered in work, school, leisure, etc.
- Can deal with most situations likely to arise while travelling in an area where the language is spoken.
- Can produce simple connected text on topics that are familiar or of personal interest.
- Can describe experiences and events, dreams, hopes and ambitions and briefly give reasons and explanations for opinions and plans.

Course Description
You have just finished your language course and would now like to practice using your newly attained knowledge actively? At VOX, we offer conversation lessons for people who have already reached B1 level or higher. These courses are specifically designed for practicing precise but also flexible speaking in your target language. For a total of 3 months, conversation classes take place once per week, focusing on 12 different topics. In order to practice a wide range of vocabulary, conversation courses not only include everyday topics such as your hobbies and your favourite restaurants, but also fundamental topics of the 21st century such as technological development and the role of religion in modern society. Additionally, our teacher will help you use your vocabulary in a precise and correct manner, while also supporting you with extra material in case of grammatical challenges.

You can choose another German B1 Course in Zurich Central, with a different start date and a different schedule. More German Courses for all levels from A1 to C2. You may be interested in other language courses in Zurich Central. We will help you to speak fluently not only German!

I just finished the semi intensive German A2 course with Yana Antonova. Yana is a great teacher and I loved her style of teaching. She is professional, patient, explains well and makes lessons as interesting and fun as possible for all. We had a group of four that gave all of us plenty of time to practice and ask questions. Lessons were moderated very well by Yana. I highly recommend her.

The best language school in Zürich. I took the German Goethe B1 for 1 year until September - and had success at the exams recently. Place and location superb, small group of classmates, a great teacher - Kathrine Spaar was knowledgeable, resourceful, kept us motivated and made the lessons interesting and fun(which is hard to do in German!). What made me though initially decide on this school was how open and flexible were to my special requests. I greatly appreciated that they continued to offer options and solutions to some personal issues I had during the course; every person I was in contact with was kind, responsive and eager to find a way to the best result - special kudos and thanXXX to Evgenia. I’m about to complete my A1 German course with VOX, and I attended the semi-individual class with my partner.
