B2 English Course in Zurich Central

Wonderful school, very convenient location and experienced teachers! I took 3 courses here (A1, A2, B1) and passed the B1 test without any problems, even though in the last month I did almost no homework. Many thanks to the teachers for their genuine interest and friendly atmosphere.

I did the online B1 course. I liked the materials and the process but the course is quite intensive (3 times/week by 1.5h) so it needs a lot of studying as well. I would highly recommend it.

As someone with learning difficulties I find languages very difficult. I have private lessons in person and Fabian, my teacher, has helped so much in all aspects of my German. I initially selected VOX from among a handful of recommended language schools in Zurich because of its broad course offering. But I’ve stayed with VOX because of my incredible teacher, Isabelle. She took me from having absolutely zero knowledge of the German language to passing my A1 exam (which I needed as a condition of my visa to remain in Switzerland) in three months during our small group A1 course (which covered all of A1 and included supplementary test prep material). After completing this group course, I have continued taking individual lessons with Isabelle, completing A2, and am currently working through B1. I would highly recommend VOX, especially Isabelle – she is incredibly professional, has a very effective teaching method, and is patient but also knows when to push you ahead.
