Afternoon A2 German Course in Zurich Central

I had the chance to try two different German schools in Zurich, each with its own pricing and approach. Although both were good in their respective segments, I found Vox especially impressive for its pleasant learning environment and excellent facilities. From the start, I was supported by Maria, who made my onboarding smooth and welcoming. Later, I had the privilege of learning with Professor Alexander, who truly goes above and beyond for his students. He makes learning fun and engaging, adapting his methods to ensure everyone understands. What really stood out to me about this school is that you genuinely feel they care about their students and are not just running a business. For example, there were times I couldn’t attend class, and Alexander kindly offered one-on-one sessions to help me keep up with my classmates. Overall, I highly recommend Vox to anyone looking for a supportive, student-focused German learning experience in Zurich.

Language learning at Vox has been a great experience. They are very flexible and responsive and always tried to tailor lessons to fit and grow my actual abilities.

The course is constructed well and they always take their time to explain if something is unclear. I had a pretty good experience with my teacher Alys and she did an amazing job in boosting my confidence speaking German. Overall I was very satisfied with the course.

A convincing approach and a pleasant team! Students get to train all the linguistic skills (especially speaking) on a regular basis thanks to small group classes. As a teacher, it is really rewarding to be able to focus on the individual student‘s needs.

As someone with learning difficulties I find languages very difficult. I have private lessons in person and Fabian, my teacher, has helped so much in all aspects of my German. The lessons are interesting, fun and after a few years struggling to improve I have finally seen a difference. If you are looking for in person lessons I can heartily recommend

The VOX language school (VOX-Sprachschule) was a great help right from the start in choosing the right course. My previous knowledge was carefully checked in a personal interview and suitable courses were recommended to me. My teacher, Mariia Fedorova, impressed me not only with her extensive specialised knowledge, but also with her motivating and friendly manner. Thanks to her collegial support, it was easy for me to steadily improve my English skills. I looked forward to the lessons every time - that makes learning fun! The VOX language school itself also always had an open ear for me. Whether technical or administrative issues - everything was resolved to my complete satisfaction. I initially selected VOX from among a handful of recommended language schools in Zurich because of its broad course offering. But I’ve stayed with VOX because of my incredible teacher, Isabelle. She took me from having absolutely zero knowledge of the German language to passing my A1 exam (which I needed as a condition of my visa to remain in Switzerland) in three months during our small group A1 course (which covered all of A1 and included supplementary test prep material). After completing this group course, I have continued taking individual lessons with Isabelle, completing A2, and am currently working through B1. I would highly recommend VOX, especially Isabelle – she is incredibly professional, has a very effective teaching method, and is patient but also knows when to push you ahead.
