You have just finished your language course and would now like to practice using your newly attained knowledge actively? At VOX, we offer conversation lessons for people who have already reached B1 level or higher. These courses are specifically designed for practicing precise but also flexible speaking in your target language. For a total of 3 months, conversation classes take place once per week, focusing on 12 different topics. In order to practice a wide range of vocabulary, conversation courses not only include everyday topics such as your hobbies and your favourite restaurants, but also fundamental topics of the 21st century such as technological development and the role of religion in modern society. Course Description
Our Telc Deutsch A2 preparation courses are perfect for those who already have a basic command of German (completed A1) and want to build on their knowledge in order to sit the Telc A2 exam. This course is ideal for non-EU nationals who need to show that their German skills are A2 level in order to obtain a Swiss C-permit. The Telc A2 exam is officially accepted for this purpose. In order to pass the exam, it is vital to not only have the required language skills, but also to fully familiarise yourself with the exam itself and practise.
In small groups (3-5 students), your teacher will help you improve your German skills to the appropriate level and will encourage you to speak with confidence. Your teacher will also help you to improve your accent because accurate pronunciation is a key part of smooth communication. In addition to improving your German, your experienced teacher will guide you through all parts of the exam and give you tips so you will be fully prepared. Our small groups ensure you receive enough attention and teachers are able to directly respond to your needs.

In our Telc Deutsch A1 exam preparation course you will not only learn the basics of German, but also prepare for the exam. This exam preparation course will cover all parts of the exam: reading, listening, writing and speaking, while also familiarising you with the structure of each section using materials specifically adapted to exam preparation. Your teacher will supplement the exam preparation with materials to improve your vocabulary and grammar.
At VOX, we believe that speaking is the key to learning a language well. Our small class sizes (3-5 people) enable you to get lots of speaking practice to boost your confidence and make the grammar stick. The price of a language course is always linked to the group size and the course content. We start group courses with only 2 people (max. 5) and aim to complete one level within one course.
My experience with VOX has been overall very positive and I cannot stress enough how their format of teaching to a maximum of 4 people at a time helps students developing their linguistic skills faster: you have more time to speak, to ask questions and to interact with your co-students. Isabelle has been a fantastic teacher. I attended A1 and A2 German courses with her. She was always ready to help whenever I needed assistance and answered my questions super quickly every time. Great team delivering high quality courses. Not that expensive for what you get in comparison of cheaper (I prefer to invest for result instead of lowering my goals for few $). I started from A1 speaking no german at all and now I'm able to speak and understand a lot. I always had 4 to 5 people in each group which is perfect to stimulate motivation and engage people. Each professor teaches well with different flavor, which enriches dramatically the learning process. I will keep going until C2 with no doubt (unless the vicissitudes of the life decide to not to). UPDATE: Booked individual lesson with Ruben in VOX Zurich to strengthen my B1 level. Enjoyed the learning process tailor made to my needs. I had blazing fast progress and I fell now confident to speak German with German speaking people. Thanks Ruben :) UPDATE (01.2024): still very good as before. I would just recommend to avoid too much online courses when booking on-site courses because having half of the people online during the course impacts significantly the experience and quality.
