Each teacher is different but I have had only good experiences in my A2 and B1 courses. Teachers are happy to receive feedback to help you learn in the way that is best for you.

I have been going to vox from A2 High German to C1. After this course it was important for me to integrate more into the Swiss German language. I started taking private courses in swiss German and after a couple months I am starting to speak and type in swiss German to my colleagues at work which has brought about a positive impact in all of our relationships. My initial goal, even in A2, was to integrate better into swiss culture and I feel much more accepted when I try to speak swiss German even when it's not perfect. The language is not easy, but I have really enjoyed learning and practicing with my colleagues and friends. With the private tutor I am able to be very flexible with my schedule. If I have business trips we skip a week, or we can move days around as required. So overall I have had a very great and positive experience at Vox and have already recommended to 4 of my friends who are also expats to take the same courses.

I just completed another great course for advanced German language learners. The course was tailored exactly to my needs with ample opportunity to talk and build vocabulary in so many different topics and themes. Our teacher Solange Morel was excellent. She made the class interesting, helping us build our oral, reading and listening skills. She also picked up the grammar areas where we needed a refresher and wove that skillfully in the lessons. Great learning experience! I recommend this school to anybody who wants to get a step forward with his/her speaking skills. Class size of 3 to 5 students allows you to take advantage of every minute of the lessons.

The teachers are very competent (in my case Daniel and Marion) and the secretariat is very helpful and friendly. The school seems to be more expensive than others, but it is not because you will learn quickly.
