Our Telc Deutsch A2 preparation courses are perfect for those who already have a basic command of German (completed A1) and want to build on their knowledge in order to sit the Telc A2 exam. This course is ideal for non-EU nationals who need to show that their German skills are A2 level in order to obtain a Swiss C-permit. The Telc A2 exam is officially accepted for this purpose. In order to pass the exam, it is vital to not only have the required language skills, but also to fully familiarise yourself with the exam itself and practise.
In small groups (3-5 students), your teacher will help you improve your German skills to the appropriate level and will encourage you to speak with confidence. Your teacher will also help you to improve your accent because accurate pronunciation is a key part of smooth communication. In addition to improving your German, your experienced teacher will guide you through all parts of the exam and give you tips so you will be fully prepared. Our small groups ensure you receive enough attention and teachers are able to directly respond to your needs.

I took a month long intensive B1 German course at VOX and it was the best experience I have had so far in my German learning! The class was small and personalised in a very convenient location in downtown Zurich. My teacher, Suzannah Higgs, was knowledgable, engaging and truly cared about my progression. I initially selected VOX from among a handful of recommended language schools in Zurich because of its broad course offering. But I’ve stayed with VOX because of my incredible teacher, Isabelle. She took me from having absolutely zero knowledge of the German language to passing my A1 exam (which I needed as a condition of my visa to remain in Switzerland) in three months during our small group A1 course (which covered all of A1 and included supplementary test prep material). After completing this group course, I have continued taking individual lessons with Isabelle, completing A2, and am currently working through B1. I would highly recommend VOX, especially Isabelle – she is incredibly professional, has a very effective teaching method, and is patient but also knows when to push you ahead.
