I had the pleasure of attending both a group course and individual private lesson with Vox Sprache. In both cases, I had the opportunity to practise and improve my speaking skills. There is difference between learning theory and actually articulating the language. I like to share that my private lessons with Isabelle have been such a positive experience. She prepared and tailored the lessons specifically for my needs. She was consistently attentive to help me improve my language skills. The way the school teaches is very good. It is the first time I have passed a level without any doubt. Olga is the best teacher I have ever had. I definitely recommend the school.
Enrolled on the intensive German course and it has been great fun. Learnt a lot more quickly than I was expecting. The small class format and focus on speaking has really made a difference. The teacher Ruben has been great and is always able to explain concepts in a way that make them more understandable and helps with learning. Definitely recommend Vox Sprachschule for anyone wanting to learn German.
Evgeniya led our B2 German course for the first two weeks, while our main teacher was on holiday. I was very impressed by her knowledge and attention to detail, and I very much appreciated her friendly and approachable manner. I expect our next teacher from VOX will be excellent as well, but I will miss her and hope I have the chance to learn from her again at some point!

VOX in general is very well organized and professional. The Zürich location is convenient near the main train station. My teacher Miriam is a wonderful instructor and I can see that she is planning the lessons around what I understand vs. what I need to work on more. She gives the lessons in 100% German and makes everything very clear, explaining in English only if I really don't understand something. I also appreciate that she asks me what I'd prefer to learn about, helps me with pronunciation, recommends videos to watch and books to read, and she has created special worksheets just for me. I could not imagine a better instructor.
I took the standard B1 level class (Dienstag und Donnerstag Abendkurs) with Elena. She was a wonderful teacher and taught the grammar rules in a way I really understood. She also consistently corrected my Aussprache, which I appreciated (strong American accent here). Moreover, I was thankful for her help with my special request to prepare me for the Telc B1 test. Furthermore, I liked the availability of the Abendkurs (19:30-21:00) because I was able to attend after work. The standard class also covered a lot of material in 3 months. I recommend it if you can dedicate a generous amount of time to study.
I was really happy and satisfied with the German course at VOX. In the beginning, they were very supportive in selecting the right location and dates suitable for me to start the course. I joined a group of 5 people. Elly is the best teacher I ever had. She was preparing for all courses really carefully, always figuring out new ways of teaching and learning by different activities, which made the courses very interesting and enjoyable. At the same time, we were improving quickly. VOX is taking students' feedback very seriously in order to enhance their services. I can only recommend to learn a language here.
