My learning experience at Vox Sprach Schule with Mr. Björn as my teacher has been extremely positive to date. Within a short timeframe, I have increased my knowledge towards new vocabulary and gained a good understanding of constructing the German grammar. As a result, I am more confident to communicate in public. Equally, I understand more of what I read and hear too. Mr. Björn is always very well prepared, organised and focused. His teaching style is methodical and presented with a lot of attention to detail. He provides me a wide range of solutions, “tips and tricks” to memorise new words, alternative words, and explains different ways on how to best apply them. He does a lot of repetition and provides a lot of examples in the class to make sure that I have thoroughly understood the syllables before moving on to the next lesson. Above all, he does extensive helpful notes which are customised and prepared simultaneously during each class. I receive these notes shortly after every class, and they help me to study at home. The atmosphere in the class is very friendly and comfortable. Although I was nervous at first, I am very relaxed with my learning experience and look forward to attend each class with much enthusiasm. Vox Sprach Schule is very well located and maintained to high standards. The administration team has been extremely helpful and flexible towards accommodating my requests in order to ensure my learning experience is productive. I sincerely appreciate, and thank Vox Sprach Schule for placing Mr. Björn as my German teacher as I gave progressed a lot under his guidance. This is an excellent language school. I was looking for a flexible program that could accommodate my work and travel schedule, and yet allow me to gain a working knowledge of German fairly quickly. The staff at VOX-sprachschule were incredibly cooperative and helpful. With their assistance I was able to find the right level and schedule for lessons. In my case this was private lessons via video. But am sure the group lessons are excellent as well. The teaching materials and the quality of instruction is really superb. I am especially pleased with my instructor, Isabelle Wegmüller, who is very knowledgeable, patient and fun. I am making good progress and expect to continue on with my lessons for the foreseeable future. I highly recommend this language school.

Although both were good in their respective segments, I found Vox especially impressive for its pleasant learning environment and excellent facilities. From the start, I was supported by Maria, who made my onboarding smooth and welcoming. Later, I had the privilege of learning with Professor Alexander, who truly goes above and beyond for his students. He makes learning fun and engaging, adapting his methods to ensure everyone understands. What really stood out to me about this school is that you genuinely feel they care about their students and are not just running a business. For example, there were times I couldn’t attend class, and Alexander kindly offered one-on-one sessions to help me keep up with my classmates. Overall, I highly recommend Vox to anyone looking for a supportive, student-focused German learning experience in Zurich.

Very happy with Vox. It is worth the price. We were in a small group (3 students), our teacher Michael is very patient and adapts to the class' skills and knowledge. The rythm is good, it's not boring, we had fun during the classes, and I feel I made real progress.

VOX is not the cheapest language school in Zurich, but the quality makes it worth the price. The teachers (such as Joline) are well-qualified and kind, and the small class size and mindful composition is much appreciated. I am finally learning grammar while also learning how to have some conversation apart from “Das Wetter ist gut”. I believe they have a good balance between grammar and conversation and a good pace. This was the second school I tried and I am learning a lot, but I would recommend having studied the very basics before.
