She explains grammars and vocabularies to understand better from our perspective and just makes it easier for us to learn. She's always supportive and really cares about the students to improve. I am very happy with the teaching method of this school. Before I started to learn German with this method, I had been learning German already two years. Nevertheless I didn't feel power to communicate, not even talking about passing the exam in order to receive permit C. And with the method of this school I only needed one and a half months and I passed the exam with 85% out of 100%. I started to talk to people. I started to understand cases and genders. Rules of the German language no longer scare me. It all became like a game for me. And my learning now goes on, ones you understand the method, you can continue learning all the time. I recommend this school very much. And if I decide to learn some other language more, I will absolutely go only to this language school.
I had a truly exceptional experience learning German at VOX. I am incredibly satisfied with the progress I made during my course. My teacher, Evgeniya, is the reason this course was so successful for me. She is a phenomenal instructor, and I recommend her wholeheartedly! VOX Sprachschule and their teachers (shout out to Priska who has been my tutor) have always ensured that the courses I have taken were tailored to my needs, with focus on the areas that were most important to me, and always at times that suit me well. This has helped my German and Swiss German language skills tremendously.
Great team delivering high quality courses. Not that expensive for what you get in comparison of cheaper (I prefer to invest for result instead of lowering my goals for few $). I started from A1 speaking no german at all and now I'm able to speak and understand a lot. I always had 4 to 5 people in each group which is perfect to stimulate motivation and engage people. Each professor teaches well with different flavor, which enriches dramatically the learning process. I will keep going until C2 with no doubt (unless the vicissitudes of the life decide to not to). UPDATE: Booked individual lesson with Ruben in VOX Zurich to strengthen my B1 level. Enjoyed the learning process tailor made to my needs. I had blazing fast progress and I fell now confident to speak German with German speaking people. Thanks Ruben :) UPDATE (01.2024): still very good as before. I would just recommend to avoid too much online courses when booking on-site courses because having half of the people online during the course impacts significantly the experience and quality.
Very positive experience, I could see a clear improvement of my german level after doing the A2 course. Very competent teachers and a strong focus on speaking which is the best way to fill confident in actually speaking the language. I recommend!
