By passing the Cambridge B2 First, formerly Cambridge English: First (FCE) you demonstrate your ability to work and live independently in an English-speaking country. At this level you are able to communicate effectively in most face-to-face situations in an English-speaking environment and attend courses in English. You can follow the news and write different types of texts. The Cambridge B2 First exam is also internationally accepted for many tertiary courses in English-speaking countries.
You will build on your English knowledge in class through varied activities using learning materials specially designed for exam preparation. You will develop effective strategies to help you tackle all sections of the exam with confidence. You will regularly write new texts to improve your writing style which will help you reach your academic and professional goals while getting ample speaking practice to boost your ability to discuss a wide variety of topics in a more nuanced fashion. Our groups at VOX are small (2-5 people) so your teacher will be able to adapt to any specific needs and requests you may have. By the end of the course you will be excellently prepared to sit the B2 First with confidence.

Mariia Lingg’s classes aren’t the typical lessons where you just take notes; she gives us the chance to interact with each other and put what we’ve learned into practice. We have fun, and the 90 minutes fly really quickly. She has made learning a language fun and practical. Well-deserved 5 stars
I completed an A1 online German course with VOX. It was an amazing and fun experience. I was in a small group and felt really comfortable. The teacher always paid attention to every student. We had an international group of students. At first, I was afraid that I wouldn't understand the teacher, as the lessons were in German. But it turned out to be really easy and fun. I'm glad we talked about a lot of things. It was unexpected, as I only had A1 level. Dzmitry Vinahradau (the teacher) somehow made it possible for us to talk about lots of topics. I appreciated the course very much!

Amazing experience with VOX completing A1 course in Deutsch. The teacher Joline was incredible, I would give 10 stars if I could. She is extremely patient, supportive, and always creates a comfortable learning environment where it feels safe to make mistakes and ask questions. What I appreciated most is how clearly she explains grammar and provide practical examples that make it easier to understand and remember. VOX in general is very well organized and professional. The Zürich location is convenient near the main train station. My teacher Miriam is a wonderful instructor and I can see that she is planning the lessons around what I understand vs. what I need to work on more. She gives the lessons in 100% German and makes everything very clear, explaining in English only if I really don't understand something. I also appreciate that she asks me what I'd prefer to learn about, helps me with pronunciation, recommends videos to watch and books to read, and she has created special worksheets just for me. I could not imagine a better instructor.
