TELC
The VOX Language School is a certified TELC examination center. We offer both group and individual lessons to prepare you as best as possible for the TELC exams, which you can take directly with us.
TELC certificates are required for integration and residence permits (A1, A2, B1), obtaining Swiss citizenship (B1), professional activities (B1, B2), access to universities (C1), and recognition of foreign diplomas (B2, C1).

The vocabulary and topics are centered around everyday situations.

I honestly have to say I’m truly satisfied by the course you are providing. Cristina is a highly professional teacher and she really cares about our improvements. She is always at your disposal for any request and despite the limited time available she does manage to organize the lessons in order to cover both theory and practice. In addition, I think there is a perfect balancing of homework load, always with a view to the achievements of the objectives required to prepare for the A1 exam.

After 13+ years in Switzerland I finally enrolled myself in super intensive German lessons A1 and chose VOX based on stellar online reviews. I can fully echo all the positive reviews as the class sizes are small and ideal for learning and the instructors (Felicity) are extremely patient and awesome. Registration is a breeze and the central location makes it easily accessible via public transportation. Looking forward to A2 and I can definitely recommend VOX to anyone who is ready to learn German!
I would like to express my satisfaction with the school in general and my German teacher, Ms. Olga Chincholle, in particular. Starting from a prompt and highly organized reception and course orientation, followed by professionalism of my teacher - everything is perfect so far. The free trial lesson with teacher Nathalie in Winterthur also impressed me, and I also found the location of the school very good. The only thing I have to criticize was the organization until I could find a French group course at C1 level. Although the administration staff were all friendly, I originally wanted to attend a group course in Winterthur starting in mid-August, but sometimes only received an email response about once a week, so I ended up attending an online course starting in early September. In retrospect, I also found it very good online because the lessons themselves were extremely informative. Die Smalltalks auf Französisch mit Sébastien fand ich auch ganz hilfreich und angenehm. Ich konnte sehr viel lernen und werde in etwa sechs Wochen die DALF C1-Prüfung absolvieren. Die kostenlose Probelektion mit der Lehrerin Nathalie in Winterthur hat mich ebenfalls überzeugt und die Lage der Schule habe ich auch sehr gut gefunden. Das einzige, was ich etwas bemängeln muss, war die Organisation bis ein Französisch-Gruppenkurs auf C1-Niveau gefunden werden konnte. Die Mitarbeiter der Administration waren zwar alle freundlich, jedoch wollte ich ursprünglich ab Mitte August einen Gruppenkurs in Winterthur besuchen, aber bekam z. T. nur etwa einmal pro Woche eine Antwort per Mail und besuchte dann schliesslich einen Onlinekurs ab Anfang September. Im Nachhinein habe ich es online aber auch sehr gut gefunden, weil die Lektionen an sich äusserst lehrreich aufgebaut waren. Deshalb würde ich dennoch gerne wieder einen Kurs bei der Vox Sprachschule besuchen. :)

I have just finished my Second Course with VOX Language school in Winterthur and I will be coming back for more in Winter 2022. Olga is a fantastic teacher working through the course at a good pace. She makes sure everyone gets a chance to talk during the class and makes a really nice atmosphere. If you are thinking of doing a course don't hesitate just book it. I highly recommend Vox.
I took German lessons with Ruben. Although I was only able to attend the lessons for a short time, I think I made significant progress. Ruben was very supportive and made the class enjoyable and efficient. He helped me a lot to adapt to the class and constantly tried to adapt the course to everyone's needs.
Nathalie Nüssli is a wonderful teacher and we were very fortunate to have a great group. I learnt so much more than I would have on my own.
Highly recommend 😊 After changing various school to learn German, in Vox I had the opportunity to get intensive and super-intensive courses with great teachers. The most advantageous is that all classes are hold with 3-5 people strictly which is the perfect number in order the tuition to be efficient.

For every language we teach at VOX-Sprachschule, we focus on speaking, as it is the most natural form of communication. Many people concentrate on writing and reading, which prevents them from feeling like they are making progress in their target language. We try to approach this learning process differently: when you train yourself to speak first, grammar simply becomes a tool to support you in your language-learning journey. Reading and writing should come naturally, while speaking needs to be practiced at least 15 minutes a day.
